She vanished in 1981 during a shopping trip in Germany when she was 2

so would be 30 this year if still alive ........

her family still believe she is alive

and guess as long as there is never a body (like maddy) you cant give up hope that maybe one day they may be found ......

The not knowing must be the worst.

I think as a parent I would rather know that my child was dead than never know what happened iyswim. At least if you know what happened you might find some closure, whereas never knowing you must always be left wondering...
