Carla Romano on GMTV - where the bloody hell does she get that accent?

I don't mind her. She can be a bit loud sometimes, but she's not as bad as Fiona 'Misog' Phillips was. Or Eamonn Holmes. Twat.

She is italian and only grew up in Scotland from memory. She's ok for the entertainment bits but I hated her presenting the whole show last week.

When she first appeared on TV years ago (10yrs +?) DP and I were convinced that she had had a sex change ie. had been a man and was now a woman hence she was always known as Carl in our house.

She was quite butch with a deep voice in those days, not sure what shes like now as I don't watch morning TV.
