Anyone else watching 60 minute makeover? It has to be the worst I have ever seen.

Truly vile.

Honestly is she on something or does she really think black walls are a good 'surprise'? I cannot wait to see the poor person's face.

BTW- do we really believe its done in just 60mins? Surely the paint would still be wet...

OMG! I see what you mean...awful! Like a cheap hotel room.

Well 68 minutes in this case.

But yes, everything would be wet.

They have a break after 30 minutes - I assume quite a long one to allow things to dry a bit.

But doubt it is 60 min.

There was a thread on her ages ago, someone had a relative who had their house made over, it took them all day, not 60 mins and it was left in a right mess, paint all over the place, furniture damaged. If you look at the painting really carefully you'll see what a mess it is on some of the make overs.

apparently it's done very shoddily...someone on here knew a person who worked on the show.

I am just rofl at this designer. She's completely crap

The other day they measured the floor wrong and the carpet was a few inches short and they just left it. What a pile of crap!

If anyone arranged for these clowns to come and do my flat I think I would kill them

Poor woman. I hate to watch.

And Terri uses only about 10 different phrases to describe the rooms "wow, look at it now" "All this in just 60 minutes" Argh!

The children's room is hideous!! Truly hideous!

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 12/06/2009 14:47

The wallpaper in the children's room has gaps in between the sheets.

I don't like the chldren's room. I don;t like the wallpaper at all. I am sure they could have found much nicer beach inspired paper.

Don't like the black. It is too much.

Doesn't bring the room in? The room looks tiny!

She used to say things like 'before, the bedroom was drab and depressing, now it's bright and airy'. I really hated her referring to people's homes that way, I'm pleased she's stopped.

Yes the kids look really confused.

I think it was yeterday they did a girls bedroom, which was 'ok' before - coffee/cream but it was soooo shit afterwards! All I can remember was an awful white duvet cover - looked like a squat!

Fire bowl is the perfect thing to have on the floor with little children Where's the playpen gone?? Candles and kids, glass table, hardly child friendly.

I agree Fluffy, that was just so rude!

The thing is you can do all this crap to a house but it doesn't change the fact that out of the window you can still see you're NOT in the Rocky Mountains.

Oh no, not rush screening ALL the way round the garden?!

That stuff is a nightmare, it falls over almost immediately! This programme ought at least to pay for the inevitable skip they will need in a few weeks.

The garden looks nice; the house I didn't like.

Mind you the turf looks like it needs a bit f extra attenton. And not keen on the stepping stones - will be a pain with the lawnmower.

Have they showed it before? I have ITNG on here (mutiny will result if I turn over ), but it sounds familiar. I thought the same things - why do all designers completely ignore the children in the house? I would have been livid at the lack of the playpen alone.
