I am just watching the Why I Fired them show and he has hardly ever fired the correct person, giving Phil, Debra and even Nooral several more chances than they should have had. Yasmina who is in his last two should surely have gone when she was specifically asked to price the ingredients of the soap and made such a mess of it that her team failed the task. Last year he hired Simon who was a bit like James this year, loveable, but not exactly cutting edge. He hired Michelle Dewbury as opposed to Ruth Badger and he wanted Kate Hopkins in his final three last year. How can it be honestly said that this man has gut instinct.
He hired Lee last year - Simon was year before. It's just telly, all entirely staged. He barely knows any of them and takes advice from the producers as to whom he should fire/bear in mind. He spends just a few minutes a week with them - how's he going to get to know anyone in that time?
