I am sorry but Boogie Beebies...

It is just so awful.

I mean, DD is dancing away to it, although keeps reminding us she does not like onions. She loves it.

But, its just so cringeworthy....really. I am fighting the urge not to turn it off. I would if DD did not actually get up to dance to it.

Does he not realise he will never work anywhere else again?

boogie pete was in panto near us a couple of years ago and was frequently sighted in the pub my boyfriend runs, totally blind drunk and the most foul mouthed twat ever (he is also about 3foot tall). he was most upset when my bf recognised him as boogie pete and went in to a drunked rant about how he was so much more than "that pile of shit programme"

I dislike them both. I have turned Carrie and David's Pop shop off. I dislike it even more. DD does not need to be put through that kind of torture. She has been a pain, but not that much of a pain. TV is off and she is drawing.

I'm so glad mine have grown out of CBeebies! I've now got them interested in Scooby Doo and am reliving my childhood. I did used to quite like the spaghetti song from Boogie Beebies, though.

Bad enough Pete, Nat isn't any better.

And do you know what the worst thing is? DD has been singing 'celery celery, its crunchy' and DH has been singing 'add a bit of chilli if you like it hot' and something about buying vegetables all day. Cos its on their brain now. GRRRRRR.

Thats it. It is banned. Along with Carrie and her husband. And along with Out and About. Balamory is on dodgy ground, but the jury is out on this one being banned. For now.

Oh I used to love Boogie Beebies. Do a few half hearted actions whilst reading a magazine, and the children thought I was interracting with them.

how dare you all talk about boogie beebies in that mean-spirited way?

boogie beebies has been with me through good times and bad. It shall remain an important part of my life. ahh, eevery first step, every first mouthful of baby rice, every morning of sleep dep. induced banging head pain there it was in the background, with its promise of far away places, exotic fruit, and exciting jobs. dd1, aka couch potato, chomping on a poece of fruit whilst watching it off the sofa, and dd2, aka the hyperactive one, doing her version of the coco mango, twirls and all.

shez.
