That would be Barbara's then - it's not the one where Margot doesn't get the joke, is it?

no B dress gets torn and then they have a woman round for dinner and T just keeps staring at her in sexy dress

B gets upset

then T buys her new dress

Bum, can't really remember that one.

I love Barbara. She is so little and funny. (I am large and unfunny, rather like Margot in fact but without the accent, I used to want to be Barbara!)

I remember as a child viewing Margot as a role model ...???? Maybe cos she was so unlike my mum!

I feel like Barbara some of the time.

Fave Margot line " Well that's the last time I shall play the tart for you, Jerry!"

Tonight was the classic with the car in garage and she takes phone fromn Jerry and says there was a time when a time promised was a time honered etc etc and all the time J is trying to say that he just phoned them on the off chance but she is in full flow and tells him to be quiet

I know I am not word perfect but think it is funny

Richard Briers was on GMTV today saying it is 25 or 30 years this year

30 years old, blimey, it still works just as well, like 'Only Fools & Horses'.

Wonderful writing, comedy that makes your cry, or gives you a lump in the throat anyway.
