Am I the only one who gets fed up with hearing this - after a soap? OK, sometimes they have a shocking, out of the blue story, but when it drags on.....

How many people phoned after Corried to say " Well, my daughter killed my husband, they think I did it & my daughters topped herself now!"

Or, am I too harsh?

maybe a bit harsh, but you made me laugh!

everything these days is done to cover folks own backs, not because they are genuinely concerned, i think anyway

if anyone complained they just say in a smug 'well we did give a no. at the end'

I used to feel like that until i was shot in a gangland shooting and fell into a canal only to to reappear ten years later having somehow dragged my dead body to spain, then ran a pub, got my sons girlfriend pregnant and was then killed by her and my own girlfriend, it was then that i realised that i was affected by the very real issues dealt with by these soaps

At the end of Broadcasting House on Radio 4 on Sunday, the presenter, Fi Glover, stated, "If you have been affected by any of the issues in to-day's programme - tough! that's life!"

lol WMF!

Actually, I am deeply affected by Emma Carter popping her first child within 15 minutes - with a quick grunt and "oh it hurts". I will be ringing the hotline if that doesn't happen to me!

Lockets says it will happen, she's sending you quick easy birth vibes

You don't think she used up all the "quick easy birth" credits for SW London this quarter, then?

wheresmyfroggy · 14/04/2005 08:53

I don't think so, and judging by the screams coming from down the corridor i dont think any of the other sw london mums have used any

Hi Pamina, I will try my best not to use them up. Should be here within 3 weeks (fingers crossed). Feeling huge and slow, but great otherwise! Just want it out. How are you doing? You can't have too long to wait now.

Right question Pamina. I think we cracked it last night! We took exactly the same approach as last time, but it didn't work. Then last night I got the books out again and suddenly found one we both like. Just have to agree on the spelling (which could mean back to square one!) and middle name. Glad we found out the sex!
