It's depressing me so much I may turn it off, but do you really think moving house can lead to your child becoming a heroine addict? It's giving me second thoughts about my life plans now!

they seem so nice - so normal!

i watched 5 minutes of it - and felt sick and turned it over.

What a very sad life - god they look so ill and pathetic, it terrifies me

I know, that is what is so scary! I know so many ladies that could be her mum. She has the same name as my dd too, and she was so pretty in the pics sad

I started watching it, but turned it off as it was too depressing !!

I used to go out with someone who was a recovering addict and struggled with bipolar disorder. The most brilliant man I've ever known well in all my days.

It changed my life.

i can sort of see the father's point of view, sadly.

Bugger - I've just turned over from buzzcocks and forgot this was on -

Can anyone give me a quick run down on the story so far?

NotAnOtter Thu 23-Oct-08 21:39:04

it is soo depressing

the poor mother head firmly attached to a brick wall

expatinscotland Thu 23-Oct-08 21:40:06

mum continues enabling junkie daughter, who couldn't care less if mum is there or not aside from the fact that mum often gives her money.

very sad for mum but junkie's in a world of her own, as most are.

so bloody egocentric

tiredemma Thu 23-Oct-08 21:41:41

Its very sad and poignant.

My lovely dad has gone through so much because of my brother.

My brother has gone through so much because of drugs.

Utterly depressing.

BlackPussyCat Thu 23-Oct-08 21:41:42

What was the gut disorder she was born with? Anyone know?

expatinscotland Thu 23-Oct-08 21:43:41

Gordon Ramsay finally left his own brother to it after nearly 2 decades of support and £300,000 worth of help - including also giving him money for heroin so he would be fit to attend their father's funeral.

NotAnOtter Thu 23-Oct-08 21:44:06

makes me bloody twitchy just watching

Pawslikepaddington Thu 23-Oct-08 21:45:07

I don't know but you would think she wouldn't want to harm herself more after going through 10 years of hospitals? God this is so sad, drugs make you so selfish-I don't know how I would cope, her poor mum.

slayerette Thu 23-Oct-08 21:46:58

expat - you're so right about the enabling! Been watching this for about three minutes and have to turn over. Daughter in a self-obsessed world of her own.

Gordon Ramsay refused to be an enabler any more - good for him.

tiredemma Thu 23-Oct-08 21:47:33

daughter is very selfish and self centred. Her poor mom.

Pawslikepaddington Thu 23-Oct-08 21:48:06

I know it is slightly off topic but I would have done anything to have my mum alive when I was her age, I just want to reunite them and make it all better sad

expatinscotland Thu 23-Oct-08 21:48:58

his brother's in a Balinese prison.

gordon had sent him to Bali to go to another rehab. instead he was caught with a bunch of junk on him.

then the brother called him wanting a further £6,000 for a lawyer.

Pawslikepaddington Thu 23-Oct-08 21:50:21

Unbelievable. Poor G.R.

artichokes Thu 23-Oct-08 21:50:33

£10k in a year shock. Does she make all that from begging?

tiredemma Thu 23-Oct-08 21:51:10

prob shoplifting also and her mom

Pawslikepaddington Thu 23-Oct-08 21:54:14

Wow, you could almost buy a house in 10 years with that! And yet she is homeless.
