This has reminded me of a question I pondered whilst cleanign my teeth this morning - what age would be OK to watch EE?

MaureenMLove Thu 14-Aug-08 16:31:43

I'm not that keen on DD watching it now and she's 13 next month! Its only in the last 6 months that I've though, she probably hears about it all at school, so what's the point of protecting her? I do still switch off or send her off to do something though!

I don't watch myself, but loads of dd's school friends do (9) and I was amazed, but of course don't the content these days. I suppose it gives the opportunity to raise tricky subjects

phil did a favor for Jack, went and picked her up from hair salon in Essex beofre her partner trashed the salon.

haven't watched EE for years but iirc everyone was related either by blood or marriage somehow

MaureenMLove Thu 14-Aug-08 16:34:57

Primary school defo too young imho. I just don't see the point of letting them into the nasty world, unless completely necessary!

Suzie knows Phi, because Max sent him to 'rescue' her from her beauty parlour or summit like that. They've only known each other for a few weeks.

StealthPolarBear Thu 14-Aug-08 16:35:01

pick 2 people from abput 10/15 years ago and I will relate them!

Spidermama Thu 14-Aug-08 16:35:34

Yes Carol was great DeeRiguer. I think they must have got rid of her because she was far too good an actress and showed up the others for being utter, one dimensional pants.

MaureenMLove Thu 14-Aug-08 16:46:15

It was, wasn't it? Glad he's getting better though, in real life that is.

Anyone remember Wicksy? Oh how I loved him. In fact, I still secretly do! He's bloody gorgeous! <<runs off to find a picture>>

MaureenMLove Thu 14-Aug-08 16:48:18

Hmmm! He reminds me so much of someone I know.

wannaBe Thu 14-Aug-08 16:51:32

r.r I would tell your dd that you are never old enough to watch EE, because if you never watch it, you can never get sucked in. grin

saltire Thu 14-Aug-08 16:59:53

Wicksy's brother was far better here

MaureenMLove Thu 14-Aug-08 17:02:26

Oh no! He reminds me of someone else I know and I don't like him!grin

I love EE, and Sky plus Sunday's three hours if I miss one episode, much to DH's disgust. Suzi wears shocking dresses, what's with the zip up thing?
