It's so farking pompous - they're all talking like it's a cure for cancer. ooooo, it must be PROPER grand and marvellous, if all them fancy actors off the telly use it
quite so moomin
lolI just saw that ad for the first time and my first thoughts were "aah, they're obviously trying to show that if that brainless, gormless, meat-head can use it then anyone with half a brain cell can"
Good point, well made Betty
Am I going mad or did David Cameron do one of these adverts? I could have sworn I kept hearing iton the radio but thought he surely couldn't be.
think you're going mad - but then again it's not beyond the pale for a Tory leader to affiliate themselves with Rupert Murdoch!
I thought I must be, especially since I haven't heard it for weeks. But I would have sworn it was him. How odd [confused]
Isn't the thread title too long? Do you really need to include "in that Sky plus advert"??
It's probably just some posh floppy-haired actor... which goes to prove our new scientific theory: That the amount of brain power needed to work SkyPlus is in inverse proportion to the gravitas with which the person in the advert imports to its use
