I'm not in the best of moods and it's making me tense but I do want to watch it now I've started. Does it get any easier to watch? I'm hating all the stuff with that nasty man in his house

I'm sat frowning at my tv - I was already upset when they started getting it on, never mind the rape scene. I want to watch to see how it ends but I also want to go to bed <yaaawn>

dh says it doesn't get any easier and you won't guess the ending.
I haven't seen it and am not really watching.
Does that help at all?

Moomin Sat 19-Jul-08 22:53:09

I reckon it'll turn out that she's set him up for all of it.

oh no now his friend's been shot. It's all a bit much.......

Washersaurus Sat 19-Jul-08 22:54:37

Its making me feel a bit sick actually. I thought at the start she was setting him up...can I go to bed now?

norkmaiden Sat 19-Jul-08 23:01:09

it's horrible. Is on in the background, so I'm not really watching/following the plot. But I know I don't like it at all

TheMadHouse Sat 19-Jul-08 23:04:01

We have turned it off, ask DH the ending please

ingles2 Sat 19-Jul-08 23:06:10

you could be right Moomin wink

TheRealPhartiphukborlz Sat 19-Jul-08 23:07:54

but there's nothign else on to watch <wail>>

Moomin Sat 19-Jul-08 23:10:32

ahhhh, the cogs are working now for poor old Charles.

I knew that picure of her 'daughter' would be taken from a magazine or a photo frame. hmm

I hope he blows their bloody heads off and then I can go to sleep

Moomin Sat 19-Jul-08 23:14:12

Very far-fetched though...

I mean, who'd choose her nasty boyfriend over Clive Owen and David Morrissey?

Washersaurus Sat 19-Jul-08 23:14:35

Sad thing is, DH is out at the pub and I'm too scared to go upstairs on my own now

Sidge Sat 19-Jul-08 23:16:26

I thought it was a good film.

The ending is clever!

TheRealPhartiphukborlz Sat 19-Jul-08 23:18:55

too much shooting!

Moomin Sat 19-Jul-08 23:19:14

Oh good. That's them sorted then...

TheRealPhartiphukborlz Sat 19-Jul-08 23:25:46

why is he a teacher?
did he do jail?

Washersaurus Sat 19-Jul-08 23:26:53

It is his community service I think

<barf> this is a bit too gruesome

TinkerBellesMum Sat 19-Jul-08 23:28:51

I've got it on in the background and I'm a little confused why he's in the prison too.

DH predicted the ending.
The whole film was about 30 minutes too long - should have left it after Jennifer Anniston snuffed it.

TheRealPhartiphukborlz Sat 19-Jul-08 23:34:36

missed the beginning
only half watched it..
agree. 30minutes too long

MarsLady Sun 20-Jul-08 00:20:54

It's a great film!

He was a qualified teacher already like his wife. They wove that into the story early on when they were talking about how much money they needed to pay for their daughter's treatment and he said he couldn't go back to teaching because it didn't pay enough (ain't that the truth)

Thought it was ok in the end but JA was badly cast. Clive Owen's always worth a shufty though.
