LittleMyDancingForJoy Fri 18-Jul-08 22:48:38

And Um Bongo -

"way down deep in the middle of the Congo
a hippo took an apricot a guava and a mango
they stuck with the others and he danced a ditty tango
The rhino said I know, we'll call it Um Bongo

Um Bongo, Um Bongo, they drink it in the Congo...."

(btw, DP was dictating that. God only knows why he knows those words off by heart.... grin)

Joolyjoolyjoo Fri 18-Jul-08 22:49:00

LDFJ- x-posts!
The parrot picked the passion fruit,
The marmoset the mandarin,
The cheetah painted packets
That the whole caboodle landed in
So when it comes to sun and fun
And goodness in the Jungle
We all prefer the sunny funny one we call Um Bongo!!

Worryingly, I still sometimes get that song in my head when I brush my teeth- it's the rhythm!!!

Loriycs Fri 18-Jul-08 22:52:39
