I happened to flip over to this and was stunned. They were dissecting a corpse - this instalment was looking at the working of the lungs among other things. Also injected synthetic blood into the body to show how it flows through vessels eg in the wall of the stomach.

At first I thought, OMG, no way can I watch this, my stomach isn't strong enough, but it was so amazing and informative that I carried on!

wasn't it totally fabulous TV =- educational, intersting, gruesome, nauseating, facinating... all at the same time

Bloody amazing MancMum, I'm going to have to watch next week now - might have a large brandy beforehand - I learnt more in the 25 mins I saw than in any biology lesson I ever had at school.

Don't suppose anyone taped it?

Puff, it's not on next week I don't think. There are 3 parts to the program, but that was monday, yesterday and the last part is on tonight!

I hope you see this, otherwise you might be a bit disappointed.....
