Sam killed herself but set it up to look like murder.

They found the man who had sold Sam the heroin that she OD'ed on, and also the boat that she had used to inject herself in.

morag had suspicsions after seeing sam heading towards the marina alone the night she died, so she investiagted further and found that a dighy had been stolen that night.

she then took geoff to see rory and ask if he had seen his mum before she died. she did and rory told her he didnt want to run away with her.

morags theory was that sam had nothing left to live for but hated the fact that if she died jack and martha might get together so decided to frame them for her murder.

she broke into marthas house to get some note paper to write her sucicide note on and saw martha there she scratched marthas face to get dna under her finger nails. she then called jazz asking for money so that she and rory could run away together, making it seem like she had everything to live for.

after that she stole the dhingy injected herself and let the plug out she was dead before the boat sank.

morag proved this by finding the guy who sold her heroin and bruised her wrists (making it look like she had been held down) and roman got some mates to go diving with him to find the boat. they couldnt find it but it was later washed up on the beach.
