The mother of that poor large girl wasn't exactly a sign of healthy eating either. I'm not a slim jim myself but that made me even more determined not to make food an issue, I explain to dts why they can't get whatever food all the time or at all (I do have some foods I simply don't allow but they know why.)

Dts2 said when he saw it, "Eh thats just for treats mummy?" If I can get twin headstrong 6 year olds to understand about food then it can't be that hard.

McDonalds is just an excuse for lazy parenting. For the record we went to Burger King today, last time we had fast food was during the Easter holidays in March. No fuss no problem, its only an issue if you make it one.
