...The thing is, I've done all those things to DD: dragged her along when she refuses to walk, forced her into a pushchair when she's having a tantrum, put her in her room when she's having (another) tantrum.

Must admit, I've bitten my lip and gone pink a few times listening to the Archers lately.

Nic must feel like she has wandered into Stepford.

A child-free friend asked me this the other day.
Of course the scriptwriters will have some nefarious gubbins in store for her, but in an isolated location with little money & no car; er, doh ...
