What shall I get my my Mum to tape for me over Xmas??

I live abroad and the TV is dreadful here. My Mum has a recordable DVD player and tapes lots of things for me. I have no idea what is on over the Xmas hols and so wondered what you will be watching/taping and if there are any good things on. Are there decent films on or special series etc?

I like the Christmas specials so will be watching The Vicar of Dimbly on Xmas night. The My Family Xmas special (think it's on Xmas Eve but not sure). I'll also be watching Eastenders when I get the chance
