sort of enjoyed it, was hyped way too much. characters seemed a little unbelievable but maybe they were that bad.

Hidden Persuaders by Vance Packard, sea. and unfortunately the whole storyline about the "safer cigarette" and the brand wars in the tobacco industry is completely accurate

Agree southeastastra-I enjoyed it a but was a teensy bit disappointed tbh.
Think it will get better as the series beds in.
Thought the main character was gorge(cross between Timothy Dalton and Jason Isaacs).
The art direction/cinematography was fab and stylish.

Almost tempted to rush off to buy some Marlboro Lights. It made smoking look very glamorous.
