Anyone watching this on Netflix? I'm 2 episodes in and loving it. It has the usual Scandi noir vibes, with a kind of The Returned feel.
I could listen to Icelandic all day long.

I watched the whole series in 2 days and enjoyed it very much.

It had the feel of 'Dark' - different premise but similar vibe.

I am on episode three and totally hooked. Also thought it had a similar vibe to Dark, which is one of my all-time favourites. Look forward to seeing where it goes and if any of my theories so far are right

I watched the first episode and gave up. Agree with the Dark comparisons but it felt too bleak for me.
Not the scenery, but the characters. There all a bit dull aren't they?

I loved Dark too, probably my favourite TV series ever. Katla is quite bleak like Dark but even though I liked it the story isn't as good ( and has been done before)

Finished binging it this morning. Much darker than I would usually watch. Bit disturbing. Agree, the Mikael actor was amazing. They were all good. I have lost sleep this week, staying up late binging, then lying awake thinking about it
