I binged watched 6 episodes in one evening, and the last 2 the next morning.
Great if you like walking dead type stuff.
Parts of it scared me, like when they were in the school. I get attached to the little groups they form, so get sad when they get separated/killed.
I thought it was good how all the characters centered around that same street in the beginning, and you saw their different view points.
Can't wait for season 2 !

Me too - i LOVED this and can't wait for the upcoming series. Have you seen the trailer? I wasn't bowled over, I must admit, but still looking forward.

Some parts are very tense, IMO. But nothing more gory than your usual zombie apocalypse really. First episode is fab and kicks it off brilliantly as OP mentioned. Definitely recommend.

Ooh, no haven't seen the trailer yet!

I found it scary, as in 'edge of your seat/tense thriller, not knowing what's going to jump out, or if being chased, do they get away?' type of scary!
