Dh, who spent a few years in Boston (including 1987 - any memeber of the Red Sox nation will underastand the ) has got me into supporting the Red Sox.

We stayed up and watched the games when they broke the curse of the Babe in 2004

We've decided to stay up and watch tnoight to see if they can sweep this years World Series.

They're doing well, but it is not over till it's over................

I'm not supporting any of them - I suppose I should be a White Sox fan as that's the only team I've ever seen.

another home run

I took dh to Boston as a surprise 40th present, which included tickets to a Red Sox v. White Sox game (my first ever game of baseball).

I had free tickets to a Red sox v White sox game over the summer but couldn't go

Needless to say the white sox lost!

If you have a baby here, you get free tickets to a Sox game!
They didn't do it when I had DS, he just got a blanket.

I'm in the Midwest - am currently in hiding so can't say the city in case someone searches for me. I can see the Sears Tower from my window - does that help. And, the city that the White Sox are from. And the Cubs.

Do you have to work tomorrow?

Gotcha. A bit windy is it?

Fontrunately I don't have to work tomorrow. But either dh or I have to get ds up and to school in the morning

Windy, indeed

Don't envy you doing the school run this morning!

The people watching the game look freezing.

Two down (and a run saved)

It was pissing it down yesterday. If the weather is still the same in the morning (in 4 hours ), methinks ds will be driven to school
