Moving to a new house should have been a dream come true for Alice (keesley hawks) and Harry (Jason Merrells) and their daughter Charlotte
But turns into a nightmare when Alice finds Harry at the bottom of the stairs dead
And turns out harry has secrets ........

But think there was a film called the staircase.which was a true story and wife at bottom and did hubby push

Might be the staircase I'm confusing it with. I also read a book a while ago about a guy that had designed a house in a really strange way. It was so modern and everything was high tec. There was a floating staircase in it too that I'm sure someone fell down. I'm terrible with books. I forget what I've read a few months later.

Surely the police wouldn't question her like that the day after her husband's death? Surely it would be dealt with more sensitively than that. Also Why did Alice have idea how anything worked. I know her husband designed it but surely they would have discussed what the house would be like together and he's show them how everything worked before they moved in?
I'm going to give it one episode.. but if it carries on as it is I don't think I'll watch the rest tbh. Anyone else not enjoying it so far? Though I realise it's only been on 15 mins!
Very strange when her mum came to visit and said ‘oh well you will meet someone else’ he only died the night before! I feel like I’m not really buying it, seems very strange

DH and I both said that as soon as we saw them, before we knew that's how he was going to die. I hope she works out how to flush the toilet.
And when she gave her date of birth, I thought she was 10 years older than that!
Every single person in this so far is annoying.
It seems to have a comedy element to it,what with her parents.Not sure if its serious?
It's very funny.

I'm surprised she had had no input and she just walked in and it's fully furnished, where are her clothes etc? DH has given up on it and gone to bed. I'll give it a bit longer.
It did say in the telly mag it was a blankly comic drama but it's so unrealistic and daft so far.

Billed as a dark comedy. I just found it unpleasant
