I've watched all the above plus:

Strike -oooh bit of a lust thing going on thereBlush

Frost

Poirot

George Gently

Broadchurch

Unforgotten

Cracker (so long ago now but I remember it being very tense. I was 18 when that came out I think. I'm old).

I didn't like the Detectorists

I like the daytime things like Shakespeare and Hathaway, Murder, She Wrote, Columbo etc. but want a good series to get stuck into on these dark nights. Nothing that will have me jumping at shadows too much because I'm not brave Grin

There's a Shakespeare & Hathaway style one set in Majorca on iPlayer, an old thing called Vexed on Netflix in similar vein.

Can't believe no-one has suggested Midsomer Murders, Poirot or Marple.

I love a good crime drama.

'Unforgotten' on Netflix. It's a UK detective drama with a good cast. 3 series.

Possibly 'Spooks'? The UK MI5/MI6 series.
