I'm looking for a Netflix series that's not gratuitous(just turned Mindhunter off after 10 minutes or full of sex etc... Any ideas?

I just want a relaxing, cosy series to cheer myself up - not an American sitcom like friends though.

Definitely agree with the good place and good girls. Also love below deck - but it is a bit of a guilty pleasure!

These are also my favourite 2 series I have watched recently.

I would say watch the good place first. Easy to watch

Away- I enjoyed it very much
Snowpiercer - briliant
You - reasonably good
3% - it's entertaining
Dead to me - briliant
Biohackers - average, entertained me when I was bored
Into the night- as above
Ragnarok - OK /watchable
The I land - intriguing
Another life - really good

Some fantastic recommendations so far. If you want gentle, wholesome (bit cheesy) series then Virgin River and Sweet Magnolias are 2 very easy binge worthy ones. Real feel good watching.
