Not what I would normally watch but I'm hooked. Dh made me watch The Karate Kid to fully appreciate it.
Ralph Macchio hasn't aged well but the guy who plays Johnny Lawrence is lovely. It's fabulously cheesy.

Yes! We binged it last week - it was mostly brilliant cheese, with a few scenes taking it into terrible teen drama territory, but I loved all the references to the films.

DP gave me a back massage the other day and I could feel him doing wax on, wax off and paint the fence

I love this so much!

We now talk about hash browns rather than hash tags in a way that we think is hilarious but probably just makes people outside the family think we're idiots

Found season two a bit more heavy going as the teen drama ramped up, but love the dynamic whenever Johnny and Daniel end up teaming up so VERY excited about season three, especially bearing in mind the other potential returner.

Absolutely love it.
I love the nostalgic nods they make to the original film.
I love the fact they have some of the original cast.
But most of all I love Daniel Sun- my absolute crush when I was younger.
I think he has aged well and looks to young for the wife he has.
Also think Jonny has aged quite well.

Well the actress who plays his wife is only 14 yrs older than the actress that plays his daughter apparently.. God forbid that a middle aged wife should actually be middle aged. We love it too and I think Daniel looks pretty good myself. But the one who must not be named looks like a walking zombie who has been hijacked by the worlds worst plastic surgeon bless him. Though of course he is much older than the other 2 .
