Just a reminder that this fab programme is back

That people who spend £100’s a week amazingly reduce their shopping bill 😂😂

Assuming new series. Hope it is

Greg and Chris help a mum And her two boys Ditch the micro meals

What fabulous meals will they cook

What will they swap

And will they have the usual - I don’t like that - and it’s their usual brand 😂😂😂😂

Ha, DD1 was asking about this the other day! We all enjoy shouting at the telly 😳

I bloody love this programme! I have actually learned stuff from it as well in terms of the easy recipes. In particular, I never realised how easy a cheese/bechamel sauce was to make from scratch. I'll never buy a jar again.

My favourite programme about people who don't know how to go shopping!

Looking forward to this although I expect I will be shouting at the tv as per normal.

I will never understand (a) how some people spend so much each week on food (b) how so many don't know how much they are spending (c) they want/need to save money but don't have the brains to think about reducing their food spend

I just don't get how they can afford it. They all seem to have nice houses which they can keep over their head while spending at least £800 per month on food! They don't always seem like the brightest people either, so how do they have such high paying jobs that allows them to do that?

It makes me feel stupid myself, as I don't have the means or a job to support that lifestyle. I must have missed some amazing opportunity that everyone else seems to get where they can spend money like that without flinching and have a nice roof over my head while they're doing it.

On a side note, I discovered Aldi this week (not discovered as such, but first weekly shop there) and I'm converted!

They always look shocked when Chris and Greg pop up in the supermarket, like it doesn't happen every time Grin

Bloody marvellous. I just elbowed DS off the telly to set this to record, only to discover that my lovely Sky box knew I wanted to watch it, and it was already recording.
