Thanks for the new thread Raahh 🎾

I’ll probably be cracking open the fake Aldi Pimms next week. Tim will be disappointed that the roof won’t be used grin

Thanks Raahh!

Still in shock there's really no Wimbledon. Hopefully Sue will save us all!!

magimedi Sat 27-Jun-20 13:44:52

Thanks, Raahh.

Hope I can post pictures of you-know-who by the end of this thread grin.

Magi - behavegrin.

The day I behave will be the day I step into my box grin

Raahh Sat 27-Jun-20 14:03:04

magi - good for you grin

I have just watched the repeat of Sewing Bee (Prime really isn't woeking for me this week)- I could have sworn I actually watched the end on Wednesday, but I don't remember itblush.

Ooh I accidentally got the last post grintennis

PrivateSpidey Sat 27-Jun-20 14:04:47

A likely story grin

Fizzywinegum Sat 27-Jun-20 14:04:54

Yes you did Jane! grin - telling me to fill up the thread!

DH is giving me side eye for laughing away to myself.

magimedi Sat 27-Jun-20 14:08:30

Thank you for the flowers at the end of the last thread. Honestly, I really don't mind being an 'old'. Better than the alternative, as Maurice Chevalier said! And the great compensation of it is that you no longer give a toss about so many of the things that worried you when you were young.

kazzaD66 Sat 27-Jun-20 14:09:23

Just put something on the last thread and found it closed grin

My sandwich has only just been delivered!

Glad Andy has shaved that awful beard off grin

He's playing very well - obviously more streamlined grin
Having said that, Dan has just broken!

JaneJeffer Sat 27-Jun-20 14:12:57

Yes magi. I came across this on Twitter a while ago

Fizzywinegum Sat 27-Jun-20 14:15:12

I had to make my own sandwich kazza

I guess you’re right magi

Luckily I’m sat on my own so no one can ask me why I’m sniggering away to myself grin

Looks as if Dan is coming back in this set

Fizzywinegum Sat 27-Jun-20 14:26:04

Jamie Delgado just had to retrieve some of the balls from behind the scoreboard and the umpire had to fix the net. With the wooden benches it is a bit like a game in a park! Bet Dan wishes he had his own personal ball boy!

JaneJeffer Sat 27-Jun-20 14:27:11

Maybe he could ask one of the trolley collectors from Tesco to do him a favour?

PrivateSpidey Sat 27-Jun-20 14:27:23

Yes I was just about to say about Andy's beard!! He must have taken your comments on board kazza

Jane grin yes so true. magi I like your style.

Sadly I missed the butterfly excitement! Hope it got a mention from the commentators.

Fizzywinegum Sat 27-Jun-20 14:33:06

The butterfly only got a very brief mention Spidey - I was very disappointed - and it was a red admiral not just a common or garden cabbage white!

PrivateSpidey Sat 27-Jun-20 14:40:31

The "applause-o-meter" grin

kazzaD66 Sat 27-Jun-20 14:40:34

I much prefer the benches at Murray's end.
The ones at Dan's end have been creaking annoyingly all week grin

JaneJeffer Sat 27-Jun-20 14:43:58

kazza you're turning into AC grin
