New thread...

Will Yasmeen get her freedom or will she languish in the jail (where so many have before her!) by the end of this thread?

I think that should be "Jiggle It" rather than "Jiggly" Blush

Nice title op. I like Jiggly Jeff, it's fitting.

Thanks for new thread Penny

On Geoff... I just think each isolated odd thing will hopefully make Sally put the pieces of the puzzle together.
I think she knows about the locking in the box?
She deffo saw Yasmeen crying out in the garden after he burnt her clothes, or killed her chicken, can't remember which
If she gets to hear about the camera, that's another thing
And now the escorts?

Put it all together and she will turn I think.

Hope they don't drag the story out for too long. Also it will be a problem with the new storylines when they start filming again, social distancing.

The whole Shona thing is bonkers. I'm glad we had a reprieve from the tedious Oliver storyline.

Why is Shona so unpleasant? Why does a brain injury on Corrie always mean people becoming nasty. I guess she'll have a miraculous return to normal at some point.

That weird laugh when Roy said Hayley had pancreatic cancer was horrible.

I find that fewer episodes is better in a way. Jiggly is good.

Me too. I like Corrie but it's a bit too close to home for me so I haven't been watching since the beginning of the year. Even seeing a clip on Gogglebox was too much for me.

I much prefer the slower pace of 3 episodes a week. I really hope that the strong older women of corrie get together and figure out what happened, and somehow get a sneering confession out of Geoff, which Tim over hears. Geoff will be shamed out of weatherfield and the case against Yasmeen will collapse. Don't fancy any court or prison scenes, Corrie has too many of them imo.

Yes, Deadringer , the wisdom of adult females is an alien concept to Geoff (he sees them as servants or whores) so he could very likely come unstuck because he underestimates Sally, Eileen et al.

I think Sally is already beginning to see a chink of light after talking to Alia.

Much to my surprise, so do I. It's no longer a case of 'I've got to catch up!'. Would be so happy if your storyline happened.

It was so bizarre! She has been short and rude with people otherwise but that was just totally out of place. I hope they give her a magic cure because they really can’t do this story properly.

Also liking the slower pace of 3 a week.

I have complained about this before but Shona is the most unconvincing character ever. Her acting is appalling. Unbearable.

Report

Yes she adds no value to the cast - please disappear again.

Love the way the twins can go straight away to Oakhill, no entrance exam or problems with changing courses?

Who is feeding and cleaning out the remaining chickens and running speed Daal now?

I think Sally is too. She firmly declined a drink from Geoff and looked at him as if it was slowly dawning on her

Sally has been suspicious from the day the attack happened. Geoff was in hospital and you could see her eyebrows raised at some comments and then when Aliyah came in to the hospital shouting Sally’s mind was whirring.

I was really looking forward to Shona returning but it’s making me cringe when she’s on screen. Just because she’s lost her memories doesn’t mean she’s also lost her compassion. I just find it a bit odd!

I really hope Geoff gets what coming to him. I’m sure Sally will fight to clear Yasmeen’s name once she pieces everything together. Remember she herself was falsely imprisoned recently.

Love the thread titleSmile

Does Dev not realise his twins only have about one month left before their GCSEs? Even I could afford to send them for that long, but as of they be taken then!

I also really like 3 episodes a week. It means I'm not permanently playing catch up. I'd like it to stay like that.
