The most OTT ridiculous program I watch, but my god it’s bloody fantastic!!

(If there’s already a thread please point me too it!)

Dunno whether there's a thread but I love 911 too! My eldest DD has already seen season 3 (streamed from the US) and says Abby is coming back!

I’m just catching up on the second episode now! I love it too!

The baby part of episode one.....oh my!

I know it’s all completely unbelievable but they somehow manage to pull it off! The end of the first episode I was cheering a tidal wave appearing! The more over the top and ridiculous the better where this program is concerned Grin

Just finished episode 2, loved it!

The kid that plays Christopher is so sweet, I hope he’s ok!! I wish I could binge the series, I hate only having one episode a week!

@spongedog yes - comes back for the last 2 episodes of season 3. They aired in May in the US.

@Mrsemcgregor they can't let the child die...it'll kill Buck!! Who incidentally is British.

Or rather the actor is British..not the character of course!

British you say.....I wonder how often he’s in the U.K. and whether I could “accidentally” bump into him..... Grin

I think so, but he’s beefier this season!

I love it too! When I started series 1 I remember thinking it's a load of nonsense but I put it on series link and found myself looking forward to it every week. It IS nonsense though.

Don’t forget 9-1-1 Lone Star with Rob Lowe and Liv Tyler. Different vibe to 9-1-1 but still good.

I’ve watched all of Season 3, I don’t think Abby is back for good.

God it’s awful (says she who tunes in every week). It’s so dramatic. Slightly to the point of being ridiculous. I love Christopher, he’s such a sweetie.

I am surprised it rates so highly on IMDB, 8s and 9s for this series, I love it but I am also aware it’s very low brow tv!

Pure mindless escapism, you don’t get overly invested in the characters in peril so you can have guilt free enjoyment of their predicament (yes I’m talking about you, person drowning in chocolate last series!). It’s always fun to see what crazy and outlandish ways people can get into trouble each week.

However saying that I did enjoy the episodes about the individual characters pasts, they were very heartfelt.

It shouldn’t work, but it does!

I think only two episodes have aired in the U.K. so far? That’s all that’s saved on my Sky.....

They won’t kill Christopher off.....

Will they?

I love it too - fab such & the actors are brill, even if the storylines are so over the top. They really can't kill Christopher - that would be beyond awful.

I couldn't concentrate on the episode - kept forwarding it (watched it very early this morning) because I couldn't bare the suspense of what happened to Christopher! Might watch it again to get the bits I missed!

I thought they were going to kill Buck off for a minute there! I thought he was kept going by looking for Christopher but when he was found he would succumb to his injuries (possibly related to the blood cot he had in episode one).
