New series anybody watching?

Sue’s new teeth look good glamorous Nanny!

Sam’s Xmas meal was over the top but if I had the money I’d probably do the same for my kids I love Xmas.

Does anybody know why Sam was crying in the preview?

Love sue! She did look amazing

Usually love Sam and Billie but my god those kids need parenting 😳 they really do rule the roost it’s uncomfortable to watch

Interesting that Billie said 'I was t to see my sister, niece and nephew all the time' with no mention of Big Paul ...

Sue's teeth were SO white though 😳

@MiniCooperLover cause Paul is a controlling knob

Big Paul is so odd, his statement about not wanting to host and they should eat dinner separately wtf?! That’s her sister. Clearly the Surrey move is his doing, why you would actively chose to live away from friends and family for no reason aside from “we like the idea of Surrey” is beyond me.
As for a 40k car with toddlers Hmm what did they think was going to happen.

The kids are so badly behaved.

I felt really uncomfortable when Nslly said, "I saw you shaving your willy in the shower"

Paul and the Christmas lights. I think Sam pretends to be argumentative back so people can't tell how controlling he is.

Sue's teeth look absolutely ridiculous imo.

Paul and Rosie need some rules and boundaries. They are so, so spoilt and it shines through in their behaviour. I've really gone off Sam. She's got far too big for her boots. It's so obvious she wants to move to Surrey because she deems it to be above Essex and Hertfordshire.

I wish it was just Billie & Greg that they focused on

I’m not sure if the kids are that badly behaved or just young. I’m trying to think how many tantrums cameras would catch of my 2.5yr old if they followed us around?!
I will say though that especially Nelly is spoilt, I remember how many presents last birthday, her birthday parties are sickeningly over the top.

If my child had slapped me I wouldn't be sitting in a cupboard with him still ringing presents hasn't she heard of discipline?

A bit off track but how were they putting the Christmas tree lights on their trees. Looked muck better than mine!Grin

*much.
Also new to this programme why did they live in Hertfordshire instead of Essex and do they own all of that house or is it a semi albeit a huge semi?

Not watched the new series yet but totally agree re the spoilt kids - they’re really making rods for their own backs there!
I think you can tell Sam is really on edge around her husband. Billie and Greg are much more likeable but again that daughter of theirs gets away with murder!

The house Sam lives in is rented off one of the guys in 1direction. She lives in St Albans, near her friend Luisa Zissman. Neither of them seemingly has family in Surrey or Hertfordshire , I
Think Sam just thinks it’s sounds “better” than living in Essex. And Paul wants to be a recluse!

ShesGotBetteDavisEyes · 27/02/2020 15:13

Also I don’t understand where Sam and Paul get their money from - Sam can’t get paid that much, she’s a very minor celeb and that online business they own, is it “all bits”? Is absolutely dire, it only sells about 5 items and has terrible reviews! I wonder if he comes from money?

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 27/02/2020 15:13

As for the tree lights- maybe it helps to put them on when on, rather than I how blindly drape mine when off.

They have a couple of adult and kids clothes endorsement deals, buggy’s etc- every event they have is funded by ok and itv combined + the money for the shows. The only one who’s ever worked for their money is Greg, who bought his house working in the City- May still work in the city (not sure).

@OnlyFoolsnMothers they are kids just being kids defo. It’s the parents reactions that I can’t bare to see! When Nellie said about her dads willy she should have said that’s private etc ... rather than sat laughing. Same as when Paul hit sam it’s just awful to see and I used to like them

I think Sam has said in an insta q&a that Little Paul is going to school in Sept and Rosie to preschool. Obviously Big Paul wouldn't miss Rosie so didn't stamp his foot and not let her go

The preview with him suggesting home school made me cringe.

Sam tries to copy Luisa way too much, she is brill at doing OTT dinner parties but it doesn't look as OTT when it's in a mansion not a semi. All of the children need discipline, far too used to getting whatever they want

I commend Gregg when he tells Nelly and Arthur off- Big Paul and Billie are pushovers- Billie always looks sideways at the cameras when Gregg tries to tell the kids off. Way too self conscious.

Yes, like with the sleep training. Big Paul took Little Paul to a hotel so as not to disturb him while Rosie was trained to sleep in her own bed and Paul still sleeps with his mum and dad.

I’m not sure the family are very keen on big Paul. I’ve just been looking in Sue’s Instagram page and there’s loads of pics of Billie and Greg, Including a gushing birthday message to Greg and hardly any of Sam and Paul.

I wonder if Sam was crying in those clips at the end because she went to a Romanian orphanage with Luisa and they have been raising money? I can imagine it would have been hard for her to return to her luxurious lifestyle after being there.
Sam and Billie are both way too over the top with the parties etc. but they are both good mothers and great with children (albeit they aren’t good at discipline!).

Greg tried very hard to make sure there's better behaviour though I've noticed Billie often tells Arthur off but not Nelly (often when Nelly starts it). Her behaviour about not being allowed in the stupid glittery car was disgraceful. There's absolutely no suggestion that Big Paul ever disciplines the children. Sam just stares at her mum as if to say 'what to do' when it all kicks off.

I don't think they're badly behaved kids I just think they are probably over tired and asked to do ridiculous things- get dressed up,do hair and make up and then pose nicely for a photo they don't care about. Nelly is reacting like she is because no one listens to her when she says she's has enough.

I thought it was hilarious when she let slip that Greg shaves his balls Grin

Sam made me laugh when she said it was a massive parenting fail not getting TWO Argos catalogues, errr no love, that is the perfect opportunity to learn how to shareHmmGrin

She launched herself at Rosie with a pretty impressive "OIIIIIIII,STOP IT" when she sunk her teeth into Paul Grin

Sue's teeth were ridiculously white, they were practically florescent Shock

This programme is my guilty pleasure and I actually think Sam is brilliant with her kids - it may be for show but she's very calm and really caring and positive . I think she's been a great advocate for breastfeeding and co sleeping without being a stereotypical 'hippy mum'. No offence to hippy mums I'm one myself but i was surprised to see her being such an earth mother type. I think people are really harsh on her style of parenting but forget how young Rosie is - I actually think Rosie and Paul are on the whole really good and they obvs show the occasional tantrums etc to give it more of a storyline.
The most cringe bit for me was Paul saying 'Prosecco fat'when sue said Billie had a bit of puppy fat - he really got that wrong !
