Dogstar on CBBC - we LOVE it. For anyone from 6 up, especially sciency boys

I've just done a search and there don't seem to be any threads about Dogstar which is an Australian narrative cartoon (26 episodes) running on CBBC: main showing is 1pm on Sundays, but repeated early on Sats (I think).

It's several episodes in now, but you'd be able to pick up the plot very easily.

It is marvellous and clever - full of ideas and allusions and unexpected characters, and altogether so intelligently done.
