Is anyone else confused by the relationship between a lot of the main characters?

I am finding the whole thing a bit confusing and quite slow.

Distracted by the fact that Fell is not really a Scottish word! Campsie Fells aside.

Found it slow and a bit ponderous. Yes, we get it, this is a 'dark' crime story. And I'm tired of shows which feature constant flashbacks. It's confusing and breaks up the narrative.

On the plus side, Scottish police guy is a bit tasty.

I'm almost at the end and have only just worked out which characters are which! Totally confusing. Fingers crossed it gets clearer as it goes along.

Confusing and I dont understand where the car crash fits in to the time line?

Do she has been having an affair with the GP who was in the fire?

Watching on catch up and agree that fell racing is hill racing in Scotland and it so far looks as though it's written by someone who hasn't lived here, they even have a fecking ceilidh in the first 5 minutes. Scotland as imagined by people who just visit Fort William on holiday

The car crash confused me too. Seems to be trying to show how unstable the dead woman was, I haven't got their names yet

trumpisaflump · 10/01/2020 22:09

I'm watching as it was filmed in my village (Dunlop) Can't concentrate though as I'm looking for my pals in the extras.

I liked it. Found it a bit of a struggle at the start but hopefully next week will be clearer.

Report
Fantababy · 10/01/2020 22:27

I liked it, but it is frustrating that they seem to deliberately cast people with similar appearances. So the head teacher's wife (I think) looked like the woman who died, and the pathologist looked a bit like David T. I'm sure they do it to be confusing.
