I dont think it's started yet?

katzenellenbogen Mon 06-Jan-20 12:58:15

Unlikely as it doesn't start until Jan 10th

CassandrasCastle Mon 06-Jan-20 14:17:28

Haha SORRY! I'm a numpty, thought it had started on Saturday for some reason... I have been away on a very remote island, forgive me.

Looking forward to January 10th grin

Anyone watching?

ButterflyBitch Fri 10-Jan-20 21:17:42

Totally following

Bunnybigears Fri 10-Jan-20 21:17:51

Yes I'm watching, isn't based on a real story?

Bunnybigears Fri 10-Jan-20 21:18:30

Is it?

Supersimkin2 Fri 10-Jan-20 21:25:33

No.

myfuckingfreezer Fri 10-Jan-20 21:35:41

I live anything with David Tennent in so add in Cush Jumbo, scenic Scotland and mystery to boot? In my happy place grin

Omgyouguyssss Fri 10-Jan-20 21:54:27

Is anyone else confused by the relationship between a lot of the main characters?

EmmaC78 Fri 10-Jan-20 22:01:14

I am finding the whole thing a bit confusing and quite slow.

Piggywaspushed Fri 10-Jan-20 22:02:54

Distracted by the fact that Fell is not really a Scottish word! Campsie Fells aside.

IcedPurple Fri 10-Jan-20 22:03:15

Found it slow and a bit ponderous. Yes, we get it, this is a 'dark' crime story. And I'm tired of shows which feature constant flashbacks. It's confusing and breaks up the narrative.

On the plus side, Scottish police guy is a bit tasty.

nokidshere Fri 10-Jan-20 22:03:21

I'm almost at the end and have only just worked out which characters are which! Totally confusing. Fingers crossed it gets clearer as it goes along.

Bunnybigears Fri 10-Jan-20 22:06:27

Confusing and I dont understand where the car crash fits in to the time line?

SentimentalKiller Fri 10-Jan-20 22:07:14

Do she has been having an affair with the GP who was in the fire?

2Rebecca Fri 10-Jan-20 22:07:50

Watching on catch up and agree that fell racing is hill racing in Scotland and it so far looks as though it's written by someone who hasn't lived here, they even have a fecking ceilidh in the first 5 minutes. Scotland as imagined by people who just visit Fort William on holiday

SentimentalKiller Fri 10-Jan-20 22:08:03

The car crash confused me too. Seems to be trying to show how unstable the dead woman was, I haven't got their names yet

trumpisaflump Fri 10-Jan-20 22:09:30

I'm watching as it was filmed in my village (Dunlop) Can't concentrate though as I'm looking for my pals in the extras.

MadeForThis Fri 10-Jan-20 22:26:01

I liked it. Found it a bit of a struggle at the start but hopefully next week will be clearer.

Fantababy Fri 10-Jan-20 22:27:41

I liked it, but it is frustrating that they seem to deliberately cast people with similar appearances. So the head teacher's wife (I think) looked like the woman who died, and the pathologist looked a bit like David T. I'm sure they do it to be confusing.

Piggywaspushed Fri 10-Jan-20 22:27:45

trump those hills are not there though? Where's that?

I did recognise the beach!

worcestersauce29 Fri 10-Jan-20 22:28:10

chest 'compressions' after the fire, (woman with big hair) looked more like elbow exercises!!!!!
