The one good thing about January. It's back today. Bring on the unrealistic demands of wanting a palace (with a pool & walk in wardrobe) for a pittance Smile

My guilty pleasure! What a lovely family today, the children are awesome.

I wonder if they're showing the NZ episodes first because of the terrible situation in Australia Sad

I really can’t understand why they wanted to move to NZ, they were not going to get a better house than the one on the UK, they were going to earn less money, they had a very supportive family and extended family who helped with their autistic son in the UK, support for their son could not be guaranteed until they lived in NZ, it seemed to be surfing that convinced the husband to want to live there.....nice family though.

Do today’s couple realise there are zoos in the U.K.?

Had to laugh at, "Yorkshire puddings are more expensive in NZ." That is definitely a deal-breaker!

I grew up in Bingham, Notts. I would move down under, I only got as far as down south.

Ah Bingham. That's posh Olympicfan. I was born in Bulwell.
But have never wanted to move to NZ. I got as far as Down South but fear I am missing the north now.

I almost posted that Bingham is posh as well!

Ha ha toddlertea... all the posh girls at school (everyone bar me!) went out with chaps from Bingham!

Really? Bingham never really seemed posh, but then I actually lived in the village of Whatton. Whatton seemed so dull, but when I now go back to visit I realise how beautiful and idyllic it was. I could see Belvoir Castle from my bedroom window but I just wanted the hustle and bustle of Nottingham!

It is interesting that they have rescheduled all the WDU to be New Zealand and with all the families staying in the same rental. I wonder if they will cancel all the Australia episodes until later in the year.

I wondered that too Bowbridge, especially as they'd slotted in a New Zealand Revisited episode today.

I did wonder if they'd concentrated more on NZ this series anyway because so many families were caught out by the Australian visa changes last time.

Today's wasn't even a revisited, just a repeat.

The BBC website showed all the episodes listed & there were a lot of Australian episodes. So they've obviously just shown the New Zealand episodes & put the Australian episodes to one side because of what's happening.
