I don't like much of the slapstick stuff - eg when they went to the Spice Girls concert - but I used to love Mick having daft chats with people. Mick isn't going to be fun Mick any time soon, I don't think
Don't understand how Mitch, who has been in Chantelle's life for 5 minutes, has sussed something is wrong with her and Gray is a wrong'un while Karen is oblivious.
I reckon it’s a case of “takes one to know one” with Mitch. He used to be a bit of a git to Karen from what I remember but he puts on the charm with everyone so I think he gets the same vibes off gray and recognises a not so nice man when he sees one.
It went on a bit too long and made me cringe. As if she could have all that happen to her without someone calling the police or locking her in a room for her own safety. I know it's not real, but it was very ott and completely unrealistic. I am guessing here that she was caught up with Ken and Martin on Christmas Eve / day by accident and that's why she is now out of control like this. The lapses in memory is just to hi light why she can't remember properly what happened that night with them both. She hasn't any friends now either and Martin obviously needs her to keep the secret. I just felt it was t very well done.
She plays an ok drunk , but anyone of her size would just pass out and not be able to function that well after bottles of alcoholic drink like that! She was still staggering about on those heels ( !) and I don't think she would be able to. Mick should have locked her in the bedroom once they went home.
That was a mix of entertaining and disappointing. I expected some sort of big reveal but we had all already guessed Martin was involved somehow.
She did play the drunk part really, really, well. It came across as very real. Especially when she tried to bend down to get her phone off the floor in Chantelle’s house
I didn’t believe that lee would have just let her walk out of the house and not follow her though.
I think she was in the wrong place at the wrong time and witnessed something she shouldn't. Martin is now horrible and menacing , so he'll probably blackmail her or do something to keep her quiet for a while. They obviously share a secret now. Sharon will have to move out. Mick will look fed up for months and maybe we will never know the truth about Ken. It could drag on for a while.
Not sure what will happen now. Martin is properly fed up as he thinks she will start telling people things. Let's face it, she was talking to everyone ! She can't remember what happened properly , so he might be a bit safe for now, but it's fragile as he is involved with Ken's disappearance and Ben thinks Ken has been ' dealt with' without any witnesses! ( I assume)! I'd be scared if I were Linda.
