(1000 Posts)While we dream up our Australian Open advent calendar, the chat continues!
what's with tennis players and rancid coloured polo necks?
Sascha and Rafa do look like they're having a picnic cute photos.
I think between us we could make a few advent calendars
Your film sounds good Raahh. We watched Home Alone this afternoon. V enjoyable.
Private I love Daniil in that one- he looks very Shaggy Scooby Doo. It's the eyebrows .
He is thinking 'They are not scooby snacks'
Norville!
Private tennis advent calendars should be a thing- or countdown to slam calendars- we could get arrested for stalking make a fortune!
his eyebrow action is Rafa-esque in that photo
Norville indeed.
I do love that we now know this.
It's an education this thread.
I've given up on the film.
I'm watching the fake Strictly results show.
Motsi is looking fab-u-lous in pink.
Ah that's a shame Raahh. Hope you enjoy the Strictly results!
I went to see Knives Out again on Fri with my DM, and I was thinking of you as they mention a Hallmark film in it!! "Deadly By Surprise"
I googled it afterwards (sad, me?!) and it wasn't a real one, they'd just made it up for the film - I was most disappointed!!! It sounded so realistic.
Hallmark films are amazing. They are just so predictable. And there is the twist that happens about 25 minutes before the end.
But don't worry- it all gets sorted and everyone is happy.
It shares a lot in common with episodes of Doctors - woman goes into labour at 1.45pm- gives birth by 2.13pm to massive 6 month old baby.
It's great ..
And I really want to see Knives Out, I might take myself, as I have to take dd2 to see Frozen with her Brownie pack. If it is on at the same time, I will leave her there and watch that and pick her up after .
sounds like a plan!!!
I’d forgotten about Norville - I’m starting to have problems remembering what’s real and what’s not in the parallel tennis universe
We're having really strong gusts of wind. I'm hoping the electricity stays on!
Good luck with the electricity Jane
Raahh that’s a good plan with the cinema - I remember sending DH with the kids off to see Alvin and the Chipmunks - the Squequel while I watched something else - I don’t think he’s ever forgiven me
the Squequel
A wise move by yourself there Fizzy. DS went through a Chipmunks phase for a while, so glad that's over!!
Jane hope your power stays on!
Oh blimey, I think tomorrow will be spent at the vet. The poor dog has been bouncing around and I think his glands need attention. Which is nice. It's not that long since he had them done, so I'm a bit really, but they havde a new vet at the place where we take him. He is not a happy dog.
I am a bit fed up with medical things.
Things in general, really .
Porr dog. Hope all goes well tomorrow.
Dh has just surprised me & bought a Crimbo pressie for us!
Tickets to go see Fascinating Aida when they come to Eastbourne next March. last saw them about 30 tears ago in Telford.
I give you their rehearsal for their Christmas song!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love it magi
I've just randomly seen that BBC2 are showing the 1980 Wimbledon final next Sunday night so I can pretend I'm 11 and cry all over again
That is random!! Ah Jane your love of Mac perhaps you'd better not watch it??!
It would be like me watching BB lose the 88 final to that pesky Edberg (shakes fist)
Pmsl magi
Parental advisory!!
I've just looked at the TV guide and it's actually a film and not the match itself. Shia LeBeouf as Mac
