Yes, even earlier than last week. That is

******7.10pm************

grin

I'm sure you are all really excited. grin

This is who is left, and what they are singing.

They will be performing 2 songs each- no 'celebrity' duets, seeing as they are <ahem> celebrities.

The first one will be their choice of Christmas songs

V5 -All I Want for Christmas
Max & Harvey -Last Christmas.

Jenny Ryan - Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Megan McKenna - One More Sleep.

Then perform their favourite track of the series so far.
Megan - (Original track) This Once
Jenny -Edge Of Glory
V5 -Bad Guy/ Taki Taki
Max & Harvey -Kiss You.

For some reason, I got it into my head V5 had left hmm. Although I knew Try Star had. One has been ill, and they may have perform as V4 though grin.

It's all very geared up to Megan win , I think- although I am looking forward to Jenny doing 'Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas'

The Pussycat Dolls have reformed , and will be performing. I bet you can't wait.

Gone are the days of big ticket stars like Beyonce showing up to this gig grin.

See y'all later.

fgrin

Cher, see through body stocking, astride a cannon.

Nothing dodgy or phallic about that at all.

And yet somehow. 30-odd years later, i lived to tell the tale. grin.

grin

Justneedatemporaryname Sun 01-Dec-19 18:23:16

Sorry, I wasn't clear
Meh, if I looked like Nicole I'd wear that outfit all the time.
Job interviews, school run, doing the food shop....grin

JaneJeffer Sun 01-Dec-19 18:15:00

Oh I get you now grin

I think Little Mix had worse outfits and a much younger fan base.

Justneedatemporaryname Sun 01-Dec-19 18:09:31

JaneJeffer
Yeah, I googled it and it was practically identical. I just mean as a kid I don't remember particularly noticing Cher's outfit. So I don't think it's going to damage anyone or have long term effects grin

JaneJeffer Sun 01-Dec-19 18:04:43

It was pretty similar.

Justneedatemporaryname Sun 01-Dec-19 18:04:08

I've been reading comments on twitter re their outfits and people kept bringing up Cher's 'Turn Back Time'. I remember that song from being a kid, but don't remember being shocked by her outfit grin

JaneJeffer Sun 01-Dec-19 17:56:31

Dermot posted a photo of himself with the drag queens and someone commented about it being "a beautiful celebration of your true self" hmm

Justneedatemporaryname Sun 01-Dec-19 17:54:23

Just came on here to talk about the PCDs. grin
Omg, Nicole looks INCREDIBLE, but I must be getting old because I'm really shocked by what she was wearing <clutches pearls>. She made her co-stars look covered up, which is saying something grin

We have had the most amazing 6 weeks ... it’s been a complete blast

Raahh Sun 01-Dec-19 17:34:33

Auntie i really loved Jenny's performances last night, and I am glad she has enjoyed herself. It all felt ( from a tv spectator point of view) like Megan had won from the off- so it was disappointing, but Jenny was genuinely lovely. I loved her bow dress, she seemed to have a lot of fun.

AuntieFox Sun 01-Dec-19 16:13:51

Hi all ... yes I was there, just got home. Had an amazing time .. I was on the telly 😳... hugged Simon Cowell ... had a lovely chat with the ex-contestants - and lots of other exciting things 😊
Jenny did us all proud .. I spent half the way sorting out those “videos from supporters”, there were many more videos than they can show. Jenny has had an amazing time, and if you enjoyed her performances .. watch this space !

Just to say Max & Harvey and their family are such lovely people ... I had a very excited teenager girl with me 😊

Happy to answer questions (as long as they don’t break any contracts or confidentiality !)

Disappointed...

dillite Sat 30-Nov-19 21:29:23

See you all next time! Although I do hope there's no more xfactor next year, this show has OUTLIVED itself.

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs Sat 30-Nov-19 21:06:25

Aww raah and to you all too! I feel we should have a thread for us all to meet when there is no xfactor, as you are all my favourite people on MN ( may have had some wine & gin to dull the xfactor pain)

Raahh Sat 30-Nov-19 21:06:19

dilite yes, she should.

And never was a 'swallowing the tinsel like Geraldine' moment more needed.

Raahh Sat 30-Nov-19 21:04:57

Platypus grin

Raahh Sat 30-Nov-19 21:04:20

I can't even be bothered.

Roxette must be really hard up.

Anyway, you lot have been a joy as always - if we can be bothered with the band thing, i will see you there.

If not- Merry Christmas, y'all .

fgrin

wine.

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs Sat 30-Nov-19 21:04:08

(Anyone else old enough to remember Larry the lamb)

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs Sat 30-Nov-19 21:03:11

Larry the lamb is being channelled there

dillite Sat 30-Nov-19 21:02:58

She really should have mimed this number.

NoisyBrain Sat 30-Nov-19 21:02:14

Well this is a snore-fest

ThePlatypusAlwaysTriumphs Sat 30-Nov-19 21:01:53

Shitey McShite. But hey ho, it's all a fix. Her teeth are WHITE. Like Ross's in Friends that time.

Raahh Sat 30-Nov-19 21:01:07

Well, that wasn't planned from the minute SyCo signed her up at all.

The80sweregreat Sat 30-Nov-19 21:00:56

I'm sad my boys didn't win.
I'll
Have to watch the first set of songs another time.
See you all for the voice or Euro vision or whatever talent show they roll out next year.
Muting Meghan now !
Merry Christmas everyone!!! X
