New thread, mainly to make sure no-one misses the new time
And it finishes at a very respectable 9.20pm.
Which is lovely. .
Will Simon have another hissy fit? Will Megan sing an original song?
Will Vinnie be all cheeky chappy? Has Jenny run out of Eurovision songs to sing?
Can I even be bothered with the groups?
Copied from other thread, this is who is left.
Megan McKenna.
Vinnie Jones,
Jenny Ryan.
V5
Max & Harvey
Try Star
See y'all later. I have Cheeselets and Twiglets. It's officially nearly Christmas. .
I'll be here!!😉
I will also be here. Who would have thought that we will only need 2 xfactor threads? Long gone are the days when there was one every Saturday
Yeah...it's had its day really. I think I've watched every series from the very start. I remember really not wanting Steve Brookstein to win.😂
Cheers Raahh.
Guessing that the rugby lot will do a Magic mike number and Megs her own stuff.. Vinnie will shout again!
I'll be here! Not impressed with the clash with strictly though 🙈
Vinnies acapella performance last week reminded me of being at a family party when your uncle gets pissed and starts singing whilst everyone has to shush and sway along
It's been dreadful, I think this is the end if xfactor.
dillite that's true, it's just not grabbed me, this series.
In X Factor related news, I have discovered what Matt Terry is up to. He is performing the Grinch who stole Christmas- the musical- at the Lowry theatre near me. . Spotted the posters on a trip to the town centre.
Don't think he is the Grinch . (That's possibly Griff Rhys Jones).
We also have the annual lights switch on at our local centre.
Starring none other than Toploader. A host of 'lost in the first round of auditions of X Factor' type people- and some bloke from Black Lace.
Don't all rush here at once.
Mammy that is is an excellent description of Vinnie's performance.
I hope he fakes a sore throat, and doesn't perform. I think Simon was an arse, saying he had to.
Thank you @Raahh ! In a month I get to experience similar at my Nanas 95th birthday celebration!
Great when you're pissed, in the cold light of day slightly cringey... especially the Irish accent in there!
Raahh, black lace you say? Of Agg a doo fame ?
.. think I'm washing my hair that night! Lol
Panto keeps the money coming in when your a 'has been!' ( or a nearly been)
Thanks for the heads up of the earlier time, would have missed it otherwise!
Panto pays quite well so I wouldn't be judging any never been for doing them. Those Christmas presents don't buy themselves.
True about the 'panto gig' ! I guess it all helps with the bills and publicity etc.
I haven't been to one in years!
80s of Agadoo and Superman fame , indeed
I can still do the actions to Superman. Thanks to a holiday in Majorca in 1983. It was popular with the hotel reps
Superman was good but not as good as ' agg a doo' ! That was a classic novelty song !
Scandal! Dene Michael wasn't even an original member of Black Lace .
And was jailed in 2016 for 6 months for benefit fraud- more .
Well I never .
What's with the sudden themed night?
Oh here we go- we have a THEME!
Will Megan have written an 'orignal' sappy movie 'style' song?
Or actually stick to the them and do a cover?
Evening ... obviously rooting for Jenny... (I want to go to the final 😂😂)
dillite maybe they've had complaints re- Megan.
Auntie that would be great- fingers crossed .
Nicole looks precarious in that top.
Oh lord.
I thought we were over The Greatest Showman..
Well DD is in live with these 3 now. She's there singing her little heart out along to them.
Is this the Greatest show though?
That was shit!
