I am thinking that it must be available to purchase somewhere since it has already been on Sci-Fi... i cant be waiting a week for the next episode each time!!!

finding Nathan particularly pleasing on the eye

saffymum Thu 16-Aug-07 11:43:12

I can't wait for the next episode, its so exciting and shocking all at the same time... post if you find it on DVD.

WanderingTrolley Thu 16-Aug-07 11:45:09

This is another mad American tv series I have fallen into. The first was Twin Peaks, it's all gone downhill from there.

It was only a lucky accident that prevented me from a Lost addiction.

I love Hiro. Part hero, part cartoon.

But I lolled merrily at the Las Vegas/Rainman bit.

Nip Thu 16-Aug-07 11:47:34

I lost interest in LOST very quickly, too many theories and not enough answers.. but this is just fab!

<<Nip ponders, perhaps she's a hero...>>

CatIsSleepy Thu 16-Aug-07 11:50:11

I think this is WAAAAY better than lost! A proper plot and everything, imagine that!

I love it, agree Hiro is fab.

this seems to be the only TV show I can be bothered to watch atm...

am gripped!

WanderingTrolley Thu 16-Aug-07 11:51:35

Nathan is rather Clooneysome, isn't he?

Tamdin Thu 16-Aug-07 11:53:46

have seen all of 1st series on scifi channel and it just gets better and better. can't wait until season 2!

barbamama Thu 16-Aug-07 11:55:13

me too! So watchable for a change. You must be able to get it on DVD soon I guess? I really can't be bothered waiting for one episode a week.

CatIsSleepy Thu 16-Aug-07 11:55:24

personally I'm more partial to the heroin-addicted -artist-that paints-the-future chap....
yum
shame about the heroin addiction though-but hey! nobody's perfect eh?

NadineBaggott Thu 16-Aug-07 11:58:23

Yes - have seen all episodes online and am awaiting the new series in September with bated breath

CatIsSleepy Thu 16-Aug-07 11:58:30

although I must add, i do think his paintings are shite!

Nip Thu 16-Aug-07 11:59:21

nadine - where about did you get them from online?

WanderingTrolley Thu 16-Aug-07 11:59:22

I have the same inclination toward the junkie, Cat.

Then I remind myself I have passed my mid thirties and leching over a yoof is unseemly.

Then I have another lech.

NadineBaggott Thu 16-Aug-07 12:01:55

here www.tv-links.co.uk/listings/1/41

you may have to download divx but it doesn't cause any problems

also here stage6.divx.com/videos/search:heroes which I generally found to be better.

Nip Thu 16-Aug-07 12:05:21

thank you - you have just ruined any further conversation between DH and I for a few night!

NoBiggy Thu 16-Aug-07 12:06:20

I love it. It's the only thing I make a point of watching every week.

KerryMumbledore Thu 16-Aug-07 12:06:36

I found the links Nadine posted to be patchy. They don't have all the episodes or some of them don't work. Found this site and was able to watch them all in good quality:

CatIsSleepy Thu 16-Aug-07 12:12:49

WT lech away!
I'm not letting any such age scruples stand in my way I can tell you

LoveAngel Thu 16-Aug-07 12:25:41

The scaghead painter is dishy. And I have a secret soft spot for Hiro :-)

JodieG1 Thu 16-Aug-07 12:26:33

I saw them all ages ago and it is brilliant.

barbamama Thu 16-Aug-07 12:27:22

I like Hiro too! Especially when he learns English and gets hos sword.

ShinyHarryPplHoldingPortkeys Thu 16-Aug-07 12:29:16

I watched it last night for the first time!

Had no idea it was like that.. excellent stuff!

Lumos Thu 16-Aug-07 12:29:47

Love it, love it! I just want to watch em all (my kids have them on dvd from their dad) but don't want to take away my wednesday night viewing (sad life, can't afford nights out ) Must admit I'm rather partial to Isaac the painter too. Peter isn't too shabby either! Watch it for the plot though - honestly

bresha Thu 16-Aug-07 12:33:39

I loved heroes,
Can’t Waite for the next series,
Is anyone else as sad as me and reading the online novels?

casbie Thu 16-Aug-07 12:49:55

i love this - it's soooo good.

much better than most US TV.

i like Hiro and his sidekick, it makes you feel as the viewer that it's still a story/comic and to enjoy rather treat it as 'real' life aka eastenders.

love the auntie beeb for paying for this - great!
