I am vvvv confused!

I thought it was good but missed the odd bit as am watching it on holiday in Iceland and DH kept getting in way of telly and I couldn’t pause it, it definitely needed full attention.

I liked it. It had 'Line of Duty' moments and a Bodyguard feel.

Not keen on the Pouting Police DI Rachel but Callum Turner is excellent.

Im still confused but I don't think it was him, I reckon it's a set up!

I was loudly encouraging them to check out the CCTV footage from the bus in the hope that it would confirm she never got on it (or possibly covered what was happening on the pavement while it was at that stop). Perhaps I wasn't lound enough?

Very gripping; will be watching again next week.

I wondered if he had some sort of blackouts but I think that is what they want you to think. I was also hoping it was going to be all on iPlayer so I could crack on with it at the weekend

I thought that about the bus!

I enjoyed it. I suppose the question is, did Emery do it but is suffering from PTSD and can't remember, or is there some other trickery afoot/conspiracy. It's probably significant that it was a video/audio expert whose evidence cleared him at his appeal. I'm hoping there are more twists in this tale.

I don't trust Rachel one little bit.

I was a bit confused near the beginning about the boy on his PS4, what was that about

I really enjoyed this. Looking forward to next weeks.

I think the boy on the PS4 was some other case, possibly just to establish her character - but it might come into play later.

Yes I was hooked.

Really enjoyed it!

I wondered if there was some link on him getting off due to a glitch in filming (although it was really the glitch that got him convicted so not sure I’ve worded that correctly) so is this someone getting revenge and creating a reverse scenario? Or did someone intentionally make the original film glitchy to get him convicted and has done the same again but stepped it up?

I was sitting there the whole time thinking ‘buses have CCTV’. I hate when whole storylines are centred around something like that where they’ve just ignored the fact they could check the bus camera.

Also at the end it was quite clever because they did a good job of convincing you he had no knowledge of it but then his flashbacks made you think ooooooh did he?!

Why did it take them so long to search under the bridge?

I didn't think the man in the uniform.assaultung the lawyer looked like our man - too broad shouldered.

I thought they used facial recognition to ID him though, unless that's where the 'fix' has happened? Agree about the bus CCTV footage being key to show whether the barrister did get on the bus or not.

ChardonnaysDistantCousin · 04/09/2019 07:32

The facial ID was from when they were kissing though, wasn't it?

Report
NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 04/09/2019 07:43

Think you're right @ChardonnaysDistantCousin. Well that's an assumption, isn't it? Not ensuring they used it for the moment when Hannah was being attacked.

Sure he was being watched, hence the camera focusing on the red van (seemingly empty) outside the pub where they'd been celebrating his release?

There is I’ll plenty of red herrings, it’s only starting.

How many episodes?

I wondered if the barrister's colleague was involved, but I did miss bits of it.

In the interest if full disclosure I only started watching after GBBO ended, though why I bother with GBBO these days I don’t know. It’s all Paul H strutting his doughy self and a bunch of Instagram wannabes.

So I missed the beginning, so will have to catch it up later.
