This is fucking awful & kind of hilarious in parts. So worried about how it will end. Love VM - she is ace!

It feels like something off the Relationships board.

It's horrible to watch (but great acting!). Hoping she escapes eventually.

Its making me feel sick tbh. The time before the scales are lifted from your eyes.

The precious months and years of your life stolen by him, tossed away and left wasted, that you can NEVER claim back.

Its tragically sad and all too real.

I’m watching and trying not to yell at the tv!! Great acting. Heard it being discussed on the radio today and made sure to tune in.

That was so good. I could barely watch it it was so intense. It captured perfectly the madness , confusion and claustrophia of a controlling relationship

I thought it was going to end badly for her and felt very afraid, so glad it didn't!

Agree @Member869894 - claustrophobia is the perfect way to describe it and it came across on screen exactly that way.

I missed the start but what I saw was great. I wish I'd seen it years ago!

Absolutely brilliant viewing.
Looking forward to the following ones.

One of the reviews (Guardian) said it was about an unreasonable couple - eh?

The DP was a creep of the highest order and Vicky McC was the normal one reacting to it.

I'm so glad it stayed menacing - and how - and didn't descend into wife-beating within 30 secs.

Both Vicky and Perry were properly, lingeringly, soul-smackingly good. They improvised the lot.

I watched this intently. And knew it would be hard to watch...

So good they way it built up with little revealing parts of their ( his) dysfunctional behaviour and relationship.

Having just recently separated from a DH who did this to me in the final few years of our marriage and attempted suicide as the final act of psychological manipulation I found it so hard to watch but , it had me hooked.

God, do I know that feeling when she was walking thru the grass at the end! Her smile.... Utter relief and utter freedom.

Great drama with great acting...
