I moved house a year ago and we had problems with the internet and then the tv and so I haven’t watched neighbours for an entire year!! Before that I’d watched it since I was about five with no break.
When I was last watching the Andrea storyline was that she was hiding something but we didn’t know what.. then I kept up with the thread a bit and from what I gathered she’d had a baby that was Toadie’s.. then Sonya died?!?
Anyway, I was just coming on to cheekily ask, before I start watching again, could someone very kindly update me on what happened / is happening with Dee/Andrea and Toadie? I’ve googled and can’t really get a concise answer.
And any other good storylines that I might have missed when I was away? Thank you so much in advance!

So Andrea pretended to be Dee, Toadie got really confused, she ran off with some money, he followed her to England, thry had sex and thry did it with the lap top open so Sonya saw. Her and Toadie broke up when he got home it eventually reconciled.
Cindy turned up with baby Hugo and gave him to Toadie. Andrea was in a mental hospital. Andrea's Mum came in and tried to kill Sonya off, ultimately thwarted by Willow.

Toadie visited a few times but she was convinced she was Dee. He paid her fees because of Willow.

Eventually she realised she wasn't.

Sonya visited Andrea and got her to agree to handing over custody of Hugo in return for them dropping charges against her Mum. She agreed but suggested to Sonya the truth was out there Re Dee.

Sonya got ill, turned out to be cancer and no time to do anything. She took the kids to the beach and died in Toadie arms.

Before she died Sonya told Shane what Andrea had said.

Shane and Dipi visited Andrea and she told them real Dee was alive and called Karen now. Eventually she got released from hospital and turned up on Toadies doorstep. Claimed she just wanted to see Hugo and he stupidly relented. Willow was there too so cue lots of family time.

Shane told Toadie about Dee but he didn't believe it until someone else backed up the story. Andrea said Dee was in Africa and married but it was clear she wasn't.

Andrea's Mum tracked Dee down to warn her off, Andrea followed and pushed Dee of a cliff. Toadie was told Dee was visiting from S Africa and agreed to meet her so Andrea made her excuses to leave and then "returned" pretending to be Dee.

Andrea's Mum has Dee in a hotel room alive, Dee tricked her and convinced her she was Andrea and got her to go to Ramsey Street.

So Andrea is in Toadie pretending to be Dee, then the door goes and there's the real Dee. No one could tel lthem apart. Every tale about the wedding Dee told, Andrea finished it off. Dee said ithe last words before the crash were "kiss me wife" so Toadie knew she was the real Dee.

Meanwhile Mark spotted crazy Mum outside and both were arrested.

Now they're off to jail and Dee and Toadie are bonding over wedding albums.

Dee is curious how she can look so much like Andrea and has asked for DNA. The truth is due this week.

Elly had sex with Chloe then married Mark. She told Amrk after the wedding and he dumped her. Then she thought she was pregnant so thry got back together. False positive but she lied. He was mean to her, she went out, got drunk and laid and pregnant (baby Daddy was brother of Finn Kelly, see next post, so extra controversial) . She continued to lie about the pregnancy being Marks and used his dead daughter Caitlins ultrasound to back up her story. The truth came out and they broke up again. She's currnetly spending some time off the street but is set to come back and keep messing with his head

Elly used to date a guy called Finn Kelly. Thry broke up.

He turned up as a teacher at the school, Elly ummed and ahhed, I took thry had sex, but thry didn't get back together. He groomed one of the students and tried to steal Susan's job. He turned out he had a Brian anuerism and so he left.

Ellys estranged half sister turned up randomly with a secret boyfriend who used a wheelchair so could never leave their room. He manipulated her into dressing like Elly and snooped on the family. Long story short it was actually Finn who used Bea, the sister, to take revenge on people. He tried to screw over Susan, to run over Xanthe and get Elly implicated for it and tried to gas the school.
It ended in a cliff top battle with Xanthe, Susan, Elly and Bea where Finn got pushed over the cliff by Susan.

He was in a coma for ages then woke up and couldn't remember who he was. He thhouight he was 19, and was a. Nice person. At 22 he'd been kidnapped on a gap year and abandoned by his parwnts to. Months of torture. That's why he was evil. Without that memory he was nice again.
In court, Finns brother, who has by this point impregnated Elly, blackmailed her into testifying to jeep Finn out of jail and getting Susan to let him move in.
Time passed. Finn clearly had a crush on Bea who he didn't remember from before and increasingly it seems she's falling for him too. Its all a bit weird and icky but it does seem like he's good now.

Wow that storyline with Finn is crazy. Neighbours storylines seem to be getting weirder and weirder. Makes the bouncer dream seem totally normal viewing in comparison.

When I stopped watching it was when Finn was in the wheelchair tricking Bea but before she’d found out it was him.

Dee’s sister was dating a guy who was working with this dodgy gang. The car was tampered with by the gang and that’s why it went off the cliff on their wedding day. The BIL, Dsis and Dee went into hiding after the accident but then the sister didn’t want to and so Dee just stayed hidden with this bloke. They dated then broke up. Dee became a hippy. Dee thought Toadie was dead but when she found out he wasn’t I think he was either already married or going to marry Sonya so she decided not to come back.

Then it turns out they weren’t after the bloke at all and Andrea had dated a dodgy gang guy and they thought Dee was Andrea so tried to kill her.
