Also interested in the Holly situation. Who is she?

I’m watching the cross over after a break of about 6 months.
Main change apppears to be Zoshia back and the Holly bit

Love Jac being Jac too

Holly is a teenage patient who suffered brain damage after complications in an operation. She is not brain dead but very unlikely to survive removal of the ventilator. Her parents have found an American hospital who claim they can help her but haven't seen her notes, and are taking Holby to court to take her there. The Holby doctors think she should be taken off the ventilator. It's all taken off the recent high profile cases I imagine.

Had to laugh at the Jac/Connie face off. Bit rich of Connie to get at Jac for being ill over the past year when she had Fatal Heart Cancer.

Given the actress is 55 (and looks 55) that was kind of stretching incredulity

If she isn't menopausal then it's not a risk she'd be willing to take I imagine. I think I'd do the same!

Thanks Isitmybathtimeyet
I used to watch Holby religiously but it’s been a while. Not really sure why I stopped but glad to have got back into it. And casualty!

I almost gave up during the Year of Gaskell but now he's gone it's easier to watch.

Report
Optimist1 · 05/03/2019 23:59

Connie was looking positively scrawny tonight, IMO.

Gaskell was what finished me off. Connies story finished Casualty.

God I loved it. Such drama.

Definitely prefer casualty to holby. I used to watch holby. Then I discovered greys anatomy and it just made holby seem so dull in comparison.

Found the Casualty episode better than the Holby one. Probably simply down to not knowing the characters of Holby that.

Do you think that all hospital staff are conveniently supplied and have on their person a fully powered torch?

True, but really, was it the time for a pissing contest about who has the biggest surgical balls?! Surely these decisions should be clinical, rather than personal...
