i feel sorry for her. she obviously feels the need to convince people she is intelligent and successful in her own right. we know that so why does she feel the need to go on about it. she seems very insecure for such a successful woman.

also how staged was the opening "chat" with Euan?

i like her short fringe look, that bob is very ageing.

such an odd programme, is she going to run for office or something?

I think you've hit the nail on the head. In her own words, she was always the clever girl, not the pretty one so fulfilling the role of professional spouse was always going to be difficult. Liking them both more now TB is no longer in office.

She's got an odd way of walking, hasn't she?

Bless her, she has many an odd mannerism, but let's attribute it to her lack of confidence...

she really is coming across as desperate. why else do this programme? everything is so staged aand awkward. but in a way it makes me like her more (albeit in a slightly pityingly way).

Have to say I never liked her previously, but now I'm seeing her in a more human light. You're right though, it is slightly pathetic. Piers Morgan is such a wanker.

Completely failed to acquit herself on the Bristol flat issue.

Moderately interesting and I think she's quite appealing. But, that Piers Morgan. What an unpleasant person.

But Piers Morgan was right. It is not a tea party, you have to be squeaky clean to come out of no 10 smelling of roses and if nothing else she was guilty of bad judgment. I do admire her loyalty to CC (although they don't hang out much anymore apparently)

I don't agree. I don't accept that because you've married a man who becomes prime minister, it's totally okay for papers to say that you are an ugly frump day in day out.

What exactly is the point of Piers Morgan? I really intensely dislike the man, he did himself no favours whatsoever - regardless of your views on Cherie, how can he criticise her for moral integrity? Yeah, like he is a real bastion of virtue. Ooohhhh, I am right annoyed about him basically saying if you answer bullies back you can expect a whole load more trouble. Please can somebody remove him from my planet.

Oh, and whilst I am ranting but in a slightly less violent way, I don't think Sally Morgan did herself any favours either. Maybe it is the surname.

Hmmmmfffffff

Piers Morgan is venomous.
I like clever eccentric people and think Cherie is one. However, not quite sure what that programme was all about purposewise, tbh.

had one eye on it and one eye on mn.
could not do justice to either

Piers Morgan is a tosser, but I have to say I found his biography very entertaining. He details lots about his relationship with both Tony and Cherie in it. Do you mean Catherine the daugther WW?

It was her chance to defend herself.
Fair enough.

It's her summing of her time as the PM's wife. It's a CV for all her skills. She has years of living and working and earning still to come.

I think it's quite interesting to note what she said about doing 200 odd speeches a year and getting paid for 10 of them.

I think it came across how much they love each other and that's quite sweet. I hope DH talks about me so lovingly after 30yrs together.

Absolutely fair enough, I agree, but it was quite lightweight in the defence stakes, I thought. It's a shame they didn't get someone really warm and onside for her other than her folks, I thought.
