Hellllloooooo! Anyone there?

Berrie Mon 02-Jul-07 17:12:59

Yo Lyra!

Berrie Mon 02-Jul-07 17:13:53

I've sen the slippers... do you think they ran them up especially?

slayerette Mon 02-Jul-07 17:15:38

Oh no! TWO new Joseph threads? Or has the other new thread collapsed under the weight of our collective lustings already?

So, I've been exam marking for a few days [cross-eyed and dizzy emoticon] - still in the midst of it but taking a break. What've I missed? Have we already discussed exhaustively his appearance on the concert yesterday (and how OLD Jason Donovan looks now?!)

LyraB Mon 02-Jul-07 17:16:34

It looks like it. The other stuff in the picture seems to have come from a shop, according to the credits down the side, which means they are available for purchase. By mad people.
I'm sure the cat is a one-off though.

cornsilk Mon 02-Jul-07 17:16:37

Jason Donovan looks older than Donny Osmond!

LyraB Mon 02-Jul-07 17:17:21

It has been discussed but no exhaustively, so fire away. I thought Jason sounded terrible.

RTKangaMummy Mon 02-Jul-07 17:18:44

Yes you are right when I wrote that thread I didn't "know" anyone famous apart from a friend of a friend

but now it has changed I know some of the cast from EVITA, and that is how I know so much about the ADELPHI etc. One of my friends' sister was in the cast and so gave us the access etc.

I do know the ADELPHI extremely well

We have been in the star's dressing room,

been backstage and climbed up to the top of the stage balcony, {as it was in EVITA}

kangaboy has signed his name on the backstage set,

it is true about the sweets,

so everthing is true about the phone number etc. also the address of the stage door,

where the cast go to eat between matinee and evening,

btw I am not a childminder atm

The only thing that isn't true is that I have not met Lee and that I am not going to go to see the show

I have seen Joseph many times before and my opinion of ALW means that I will NOT be going to see this production.

My son is the actor in the family, he is doing Henry V this evening.

I am sorry I spent sooooooooooooooo long teasing you all

I hope you will forgive me

I hope you all enjoy the show

slayerette Mon 02-Jul-07 17:19:31

I felt sorry for him - Lee and Donny looked so sparkly-eyed and fresh faced compared to Jason - he looked a bit like he didn't want to be there. Lee looked so excited, bless him!

LyraB Mon 02-Jul-07 17:20:55

Finally, some answers!
Thank you.
Sorry I called you bossy

Berrie Mon 02-Jul-07 17:22:03

RTKanga

Berrie Mon 02-Jul-07 17:24:01

I bumped the old (2nd) thread Slayerette so catch up if you want.
Sorry you are under piles of marking, know what that is like
What is your subject?

Berrie Mon 02-Jul-07 17:25:54

The Times called them 'an embarrasment of Josephs' today.

RTKangaMummy Mon 02-Jul-07 17:26:29

btw if an usherette catches you with a camera taking photos they will watch you delete them

The only way I got away with it was by saying that I was a friend of ***********

Even of the curtain calls they will make you delete

So don't use a digital camera use a 35mmone cos they are less likely to make you take the film out

slayerette Mon 02-Jul-07 17:27:02

English - marking A2 at the mo. Gritting my teeth and reciting 'Thinkofthemoneythinkofthemoney...' But it's SO EXHAUSTING! Have stopped for today because I reached that critical point after which it's not fair to the candidates to carry on...

What about you?

Berrie Mon 02-Jul-07 17:32:31

English also but KS2. I have an interview next week.(Did you realise it was me from application help thread?)I am very nervous as I feel so out of education at the moment. I need to do some catching up before then.

oggsfrog Mon 02-Jul-07 19:12:41

Ooh, much quicker to load

Kanga

Don't remember you telling us where the cast go to eat between matinee and evening performance???? (Not that it matters to me as there is no matinee performance on the day I go.)

Binkle, where are your seats again?

oggsfrog Mon 02-Jul-07 21:07:41

[swivel eyes emoticon] <looks around, paranoid that they've started yet another thread and left me bahind>

slayerette Mon 02-Jul-07 21:25:56

Oh but we have, oggs, we have. Oh dear - looks like you're at the back of the queue AGAIN!

And while you were gone, we had an absolute orgy of Lee-lusting - although the slippers were mentioned quite frequently, I have to admit...

Berrie, you'll be fine at the interview! They (and by that I mean ALL the powers that be in bureacracy-land) are crying out for sensible, intelligent people like you and me to be in education. Otherwise, they might have to step up to the plate (where does that come from? - is it baseball??)and do some flippin' work themselves!

<Just don't show them any of the Joseph threads...>

RTKangaMummy Mon 02-Jul-07 21:43:01

The Spanish restaurant on the corner of MAIDEN LANE

It does deffo brill TAPAS

Go around 5.30pm

LyraB Mon 02-Jul-07 21:55:20

What's it called? Do you know? Lee might not like tapas. he might slink off to Burget King.

RTKangaMummy Mon 02-Jul-07 22:00:46

La TASCA iirc

RTKangaMummy Mon 02-Jul-07 22:01:43

TAPAS for 2 to share is about £19

Berrie Mon 02-Jul-07 22:04:33

Oh but I can find out what Lee likes

LyraB Mon 02-Jul-07 22:07:47

Ah, I'm familiar with La Tasca, we have one here.
