I've just watched the Doctor who episode, The Christmas Invasion and I absolutely love the line 'Judging by the evidence, I've certainly got a gob!'
Make me pmsl everytime.

So what's your favourite line from a TV show?
No films as that's just too easy at times.

has to be from life on mars:

Sam: An overweight, over-the-hill, nicotine-stained, borderline-alcoholic homophobe with a superiority complex and an unhealthy obsession with male bonding?

Gene: You make that sound like a bad thing.

and Gene: Don't move, you are surrounded by armed bastards!

Um - absolutely anything from House?

Wilson: Are we role-playing? Am I you? I don't want to be you!

and from Dr Who week before last -

The Dr to Capt. Jack (several times): Stop it!

Desperate Houswives, back in the days when I still watched it and Tom had just started looking after the children with Lynette back at work.

"Looking after the twins, its like herding cats."

It is indeed.

Not so much a line, more an extract from the West Wing pilot. It so expresses for me those times when you think you have got it, you are in control, then you fall on your face:

C.J. CREGG
You can have a normal life. You'd be amazed at how normal I can be. See,
it's all
about budgeting your time. This time, this hour, this is my time. Five
a.m. to six
a.m. I can workout, as you see. I can think about personal matters. I can
meet an
interesting man. [Her beeper goes off.] The trick is...

MAN
Your beeper's going.

C.J.
What?

MAN
I think your beeper is going.

C.J. checks her beeper while still running on the treadmill. What she finds
on her
beeper is distracting, however, and she falls off the machine.
