me too.
i can usually endure quite a high level of banality in my evening viewing, but even I have only been able to cope with about three minutes of one or two episodes.
someone should set fire to someone else's trouser leg.
or puke in the toaster and not tell anyone.
or die.

I've also avoided being drawn into it. I've realised it's a waste of vital time in my life. No-one I know is watching it either so they're definately a few down if not millions!!

I think ratings must be way down because the mystique is gone. Contestants are too often extreme personalities/misfits chosen for conflict etc. Group too obviously manipulated with predictably unpleasant results. Ugly behaviour and not fun to watch at all.

i have watched the first night, and maybe 2 or 3 shows since. Its boring this year, I normally watch it every night, but I can't be bothered with it this year

Still don't know anyone who watches regularly, and feel completely uninterested myself. Even on long, quiet nights in I'm not tempted in the slightest.....
