Did anyone watch this back in the spring?

I did. I loved it albeit the ending a bit incomplete- left open for series 2.

Why is it on again so soon? I see it's on BBC Wales again tonight. It doesn't say it's a repeat but surely it can't be series 2 already?

I watched this on BBC1 just s few months ago. I waited week yo week got the next instalment. The series was 8 weeks long.
Anyone know why they are repeating this so soon?

I think it was only on BBC1 Wales the first time and is now networked.

Cherrypie32 Thu 12-Jul-18 21:45:28

What beautiful part of Wales is this filmed in?

FutureFairyCrayon Thu 12-Jul-18 21:48:14

Carmarthenshire apparently.

I’m enjoying it, but finding the incidental music a bit too jaunty and intrusive.

ThroughThickAndThin01 Thu 12-Jul-18 21:50:48

Watched the first few episodes when it was screened earlier but sort of petered out with it. Not sure whether to give it another go or not.

SavageBeauty73 Thu 12-Jul-18 21:53:01

I loved it. I like Faith a lot.

LaGattaNera Thu 12-Jul-18 21:54:26

Not seen it before but am enjoying it

spiderbabymum Thu 12-Jul-18 21:57:23

I’m liking it ..... but yes agree the music is rather extreme

BrennieGirl Thu 12-Jul-18 21:58:09

I'm quite enjoying the story but I do think it's a bit over acted - all the lying on the floor and shaking her hair around is a bit much.

Graphista Thu 12-Jul-18 22:02:54

I'm enjoying it the high pitched whine of the soundtrack is doing my nut in!

I like eve myles a lot. Wish there'd been another series of frankie.

Akire Thu 12-Jul-18 22:03:57

Yes I’m enjoying it, the bbc can do good drama when it tries. Good plot and feel fully involved so far.

Akire Thu 12-Jul-18 22:04:47

P.s agree with annoying keep shaking hair! Who needs hair in face when you are stressed!!

DuggeesWoggle Thu 12-Jul-18 22:06:34

I've enjoyed it tonight, yes the music was a bit over slick but the character of Faith was very likeable. I like the fact that her husband is played by her real life husband - sure they had a great laugh filming their smoochy scenes together! Not heard of it before now so it's all new to me.

Makes a change from the grim detective dramas.

Susiesoap7 Thu 12-Jul-18 22:06:39

Just watched it, loving it. Not seen it before.
Keep turning sound down it's so loud, thought it was my hearing!
Please don't tell me the ending! 😁

Clawdy Thu 12-Jul-18 22:09:33

Faith is rather irritating. Her fixed smile was becoming very annoying by the end of the episode. And the bit where she left the three children asleep and alone and drove into the night was just ridiculous.

ShreddedFeet Thu 12-Jul-18 22:21:57

Ah didn't realise it was just in Wales before. Even so they are 're running it here again now. It's very soon for a re-run.

I will say I almost have up on it in episodes 1 and 2 but was very glad I stuck with it , it does get better and better.

Wedontbelievewhatsontv Thu 12-Jul-18 23:15:09

I enjoyed it but my god she over acts! Hope to god she'll calm down a bit ...

northernlites Thu 12-Jul-18 23:23:11

Loved that series, I do hope there is a second one

joosiewoosie Fri 13-Jul-18 00:26:30

I found it all a bit much and quite upsetting. I turned off after she left the childten and the eldest woke up to find mum not thete and a face at the window. Music did my head in. Am interested bit can't stand 7 more. Maybe I'm hormonal🤔, but I bawled my eyes out 😭 and hugged DH a bit tighter and longer than usual tonight.

EachandEveryone Fri 13-Jul-18 01:11:10

I thought she was on telly this week takking about series 2

The80sweregreat Fri 13-Jul-18 06:05:59

I liked it but I agree the lying around on the floor bit was annoying and leaving those poor kids alone too! I dont think you would do that at all even in those circumstances.at least you would take the baby.
He is obviously dodgy as hell.

Slartybartfast Fri 13-Jul-18 06:26:43

we never finished it, it ran out on iplayer, not sure if i am bothered to finish either.

The80sweregreat Fri 13-Jul-18 06:33:01

These type of mystery type dramas and books have been done to death, so i am aware ' all is not what it seems' and i bet that friend of hers has something to do with it as well ( guess) or the BIL
It seems similar to a book i read years ago, but i cant recall the title.

ThroughThickAndThin01 Fri 13-Jul-18 06:53:43

I’m not in Wales. I can’t remember which channel I’ve already seen it on.

TeenTimesTwo Fri 13-Jul-18 11:20:12

Perhaps it was such a big hit in Wales (how do the do the dual language thing - are there 2 BBC1s an English and a Welsh?) that they are showing it quickly to the rest of Britain so we can all watch a series 2 together?
