Anybody else watching it? I really want to like it but I am really not feeling it.

CarrieBradshawsScrunchie Tue 24-Apr-18 21:26:12

It’s a bit odd! Really wanted to like it too.

longtompot Tue 24-Apr-18 21:26:20

I missed the first 15 mins so will watch later. I have series plussed it, just in case. I was sure from the trailers but have decided to give it a go.

LARLARLAND Tue 24-Apr-18 21:33:53

Glad I am not the only one who thinks it's odd.

Torvi Tue 24-Apr-18 21:36:46

I'm enjoying the clothes/bags/shoes

DontDrinkDontSmoke Tue 24-Apr-18 21:38:58

A poor man’s Good Wife. A very poor man.

KenDoddsDadsDog Tue 24-Apr-18 21:39:45

I wanted to like it but it’s crap so far

LittleMissLonesome Tue 24-Apr-18 21:54:26

Far too many characters. V hard to keep track.

LARLARLAND Tue 24-Apr-18 22:00:14

Stuck it out but still not feeling it. Didn't believe a lot of the characters. I hope it grows on me.

beachbodyunready Tue 24-Apr-18 22:02:40

It took me a while but I liked it, now I need to know why her father left, guaranteed there's a back story with the mother, what's the betting he wanted to stay in touch?

colouringinagain Tue 24-Apr-18 22:03:03

Love Nicola Walker but not feeling it either.
.

Dozer Tue 24-Apr-18 22:03:36

I quite enjoyed it - great clothes!

Kept expecting ruth from spooks to have to deal with something more awful than family law!

Pompom42 Tue 24-Apr-18 22:03:55

A lot of bad acting I thought. Didn't get into it but missed first 6 min. Will watch again tom

Dozer Tue 24-Apr-18 22:04:57

Made parenting, two parents working FT in central London in high powered law jobs, socialising and dressing/looking great seem a breeze!

Biologifemini Tue 24-Apr-18 22:06:14

The chap from the Gold Blend advert is in it.
Stephen mangen was good but he plays the same role in everything.
Agree it was weird.
These lawyers need more projects to be getting on with. It wasn’t a high pressure work environment.

Norugratsatall Tue 24-Apr-18 22:06:15

It was a bit too much like hard work keeping track of who's who. Couldn't read the texts either and I found myself not caring so doubt I'll watch again next week.

Janus Tue 24-Apr-18 22:07:31

All a bit silly but watchable nonsense!! How could the friend see her closest girlfriends on what (I assume) was her husband’s funeral and then run off to her lover who was her best friend’s husband?!

legolammb Tue 24-Apr-18 22:12:45

Janus - they talked about nursing him, so perhaps it was a different type of relationship. Trying to get into it but finding it very silly - some unbelievable characters

eddiemairswife Tue 24-Apr-18 22:14:22

I agree about not being able to read the texts. In Hollyoaks the texts come up on screen.

Janus Tue 24-Apr-18 22:19:24

So maybe she was nursing her dad? But then she said he always wanted her to have bigger boobs so that seems unlikely grin!
I froze the texts and the first one was from the guy at work asking for her sister’s number and then the second just asked if she was still awake, didn’t see her answer!

Slartybartfast Tue 24-Apr-18 22:21:44

I couldn't read the texts, so that was confusing, was disappointed in this, hopefully it will improve but why have a big birthday party on a working day

Dozer Tue 24-Apr-18 22:31:55

Perhaps it was a Friday?

Think the one with the boob job had cared for her deceased husband and the meal was just a meet-up a while after his death. Was confused about boob job woman’s outfit, tracksuit bottoms with blazer.

The first text from blonde bloke asked for the flirty dark sister’s number, which hannah shared, then he sent a late evening one asking if still awake, she replied yes and he looked smug.

Jux Tue 24-Apr-18 22:50:56

I loved it. Nicola Walker is one of my favourite actresses.

Xmasbaby11 Tue 24-Apr-18 22:53:20

I wanted to like it. It was nice to look at but too many characters and too confusing. Gave up halfway through.

Thinkingofausername1 Tue 24-Apr-18 22:59:58

I liked it.
