Of course you got Ash in the title, Sleeping I am still a little unsure, manwise - ever since Dr. Nate left, it’s not been quite the same. Brody’s a bit too preppy and although Ash is very easy on the eye, he’s really gone off the rails. I think I’ll make a bid for Luc Babysitter Cop (and should probably learn his name...)

I'm not sure of the etiquette in terms of pretending we don’t ‘know’ each other back on the other thread but I’ll refrain for mentioning your Ash obsession over there. Your secret is safe.

Aussie soaps are my weakness. When DS1 was little and never ever slept I even watched a lot of Macleod’s Daughters whilst breastfeeding between 5 and 7am. Was too sleep deprived to work out what was going on, but there were lots of familiar faces.

I'm here too! Totally just panicked when I realised the last thread was full & thought I was going to have to start a new one!

I'm not liking the new cop. His lips annoyed me in his first scene & I haven't quite forgiven him for doing a weird pouty thing. I don't think he's even done it again! Plus, I'm annoyed on behalf of all the perfectly competent cops who have to hand their cases over to this bloke who's just walked in. It's fine though, I give it maybe a week before his tattoo secret is revealed & a month before he leaves. Then we'll get another Charlie/Kat lookalike filling the spot of uptight only cop in the bay who falls in love with one of the bad boys & ends up dead because of it.

How long do you think it'll be before Roo tracks down her mum? She'll probably have a whole other family now but her new husband will have died & she'll come back to the bay with adult children who'll rub Roo/Alf up the wrong way maybe one of them will be a beautiful, impossibly thin female police officer with brown hair but within a few days everyone will have resolved their differences & Alf & Martha will be making eyes at each other & having "y'know, I never stopped loving you" conversations.

I'm bored of pretty blonde victim woman & Leah speaking for her all the time. Can she not say "excuse me, only policeman allowed to leave the station, my stalker is still harrassing me" with her own mouth?!

Why has Leah latched on to this new woman so bizarrely? Is she just a VJ replacement? Is it that the writers are going: WTF do we do with Leah? - we can’t give her another husband yet. We have to at least wait for Maggie to die before we match her up with Pa Astoni. Who I had forgotten about and who is actually quite hot in a dishevelled way. I did like his “thump Mick the Rapist first and ask questions later” approach which I feel more men in the Bay could have taken.

Love the roll-call of H&A fans, btw - I literally know no-one who watches in RL. I on the other hand get quite excited when it’s ironing day because I can binge-watch a week’s worth of episodes in peace.

Colby New Cop looks a bit shiny. He couldn’t grow a beard if he tried. It’s a shame he has a Shady Past: why do H&A never have an uptight good guy who falls for the bad girl? (Trying to think of one now...)

Sleeping - I’m on the Holby thread too more occasionally - the Dom/Isaac storyline sucked me in and now I’m in thrall to HH...
